» MAGIC RULES :
- Most
matches are determined by mortal abilities. Only when a match was designed to have magic
in them can you have magic in a match. However,
A spell called "Magic Lock" is placed on every
wrestler no matter what style you are. The magic
barrier is made when a character in-story signs
on to wrestle- so no matter how strong you are
in magic your bound by this agreement. The magic
lock concept is to set players both mortal and
not on the same grounds.
- You
can use magic to introduce your gimmick when
approaching the ring or confronting a player
in a standoff (see more below). But once the
bell rings you cannot use magic unless it was
designed to be using magic.
- IF
your in a match that uses magic, you MUST balance
your match with wrestling moves. You cannot
block every single move or brush it off from
your oppoent. This is referred to as godmoding.
We simply do not allow it. Additionally,
using magic will tire your character out. This idea MUST be played even
if your 'godlike.' If you use too much magic/magic
all the time in a match you weaken yourself
and must show that or the match win will default
to your oppoent(s). Further discipline will
apply.
- You
cannot win with a magic move unless it was approved
by your partner(s). Magic should only be used
to enchance and excite the match.
» WHEN TO POST:
-
There are several forums available on CW Pro and CWB4Pro. Typically, you can post at anytime in under any of the role playing boards under CW Universe if you are playing on the CW Pro board. The role playing sections are intended to be the main stage of all of your actions. This can by anywhere from backstage scenes, scenes regarding the wrestler(s) life, scenes regarding a story your doing, challenges to champions and/or other wrestlers, brawls... the list goes on and on.
-
Official matches/events however are only posted by CW Officials. When an official event has been setup you post to the designated event typically under the Major PPV and/or CWE/ECT TV event forums. The only exception is the CW Infiltrate forum were you can setup your very own match with your opponet(s) at anytime.
- When posting how do you respond?
- For matches: You first post an entrance and you usually wait for your opponet to make his/her entrance before posting a battle scene. You CAN post some fighting in your entrance but you have to wait till everybody has posted actually arriving on scene.
- Order of entrance into a match is typically done like this:
- If its a championship match, the challenger arrives first and the champion arrives last.
- If nobody is champion, you arrive by the alphabetical order of your character's first name.
For example: John Doe makes his entrance first over Vince Pain.
- If there are multiple champions then you go by the alphabetical order of your first name.
- You have the option to choose to arrive when you can arrive. You do not need to wait for anybody to post- including the champion. However the above order is for those that can't decide who should enter first or second etc...
- In tournaments, there is no order of arrival. You show up when you can post your entrance.
- Order of responding/continuing a match or normal post:
- In all matches that are Player VS Player, you rotate your posts till you arrive to your endings.
- In all matches that are Players VS Players (more than one oppoent and/or team mate) you DO NOT HAVE a posting order. You go by first come first serve.
- If a player(s) posted at the same time and there is a conflict- what you do is either go by the post created first -or- use your judgment and select/combine the best possible response that can continue the storyline and/or match.
- You cannot double post which is posting to your reply. The only exception would be if your posting a body of stories like a diary or reflection scene.
- For matches: the typical time you post the end of your match is really up to you and your oppoents. However, endings should be the 8th post in your match if you cannot decide.
» TEAM OR SOLO PLAY:
-
1.
You can have unlimited amounts of alternative
characters throughout your career here in
the CW, but no more than 4-6 characters active
at one time.
2. Alternative characters can hold titles
at the same time your main character holds
one- but you can't monopolize the title ranks
and its expected that your alternative characters
will have shorter title reigns than your main
character (helps with title rotation and fairness).
3. You cannot fight your own alternative character(s)
in a battle for a belt.
-
Players
with multiple characters with titles have
the same rights as two players in a tag team
» STORYLINES/ANGLES:
-
Angles
are story events that player(s) may want to
chose to play in the game. Usually these are
planned but sometimes become to boring as
they are predictable. Its always good to watch
what other players are doing and try to "butt"
in to develop feuds or better angles. Mini-angles
are usually a very short angle that may or
may not help the main angle.
-
The
game is very random and often unpredictable.
Actually that's the beauty behind the game
because that allows players to surprise others
and develop interesting turns-of-events. You
can post as anonymous or as ????? or whatever
you like to surprise others. Keep in mind,
your character can be attacked without any
warning. This is more of a complement because
that means they want to develop a feud or
angle. Keep in mind, use common sense and
try not to be chaotic.
- All
angles/storylines are soley the player's right
to enjoy! Regardles what others may say or think.
Some exceptions apply such as: racial remarks,
X-rated material.
» HOW TO PLAY:
-
The
CW features a unique fighting style, through
posts. You are free to post to anyone!
You can have interviews, comments, promos
and match ideas.
-
The
CW RPG Board is used primarily for role playing
and dark matches. Official events and matches
are held on the PPV Board and Tournament Board.
- There
is NO limit to how long a post can be- however,
posts that are one sentence per-post tactics
are regarded as clutter and will be removed
with a warning.
- There's
NO true order of posting/repling to a post.
Especially for more than one oppoent or partners.
You can post out of order but you cannot double
post (which means, repling to your own post).
Further
Explaination Here
- Promotionals
and Cameos: This board is for any promos or
camera shots you want todo before an event or
to promote your character. These can be live-tappings
or previously tapped. You can challenge here
as well or bring the challenge to the RPG board.
- "God-moding"-
this term represents when a player fights another
player without any hurt or injuries. Seemingly,
they make their character invincible. There
are specific rules regarding this which are
covered in detail on the Conduct section.
- Most
matches are won through "player's choice" (players
amongst themselves decide the outcome). However,
impromptu/open matches/ordered matches will
be decided either by the Admin or through a
voting from the mods or from the overall roster.
Furthermore, CBs can be used to purchase the
win either through bidding or exchanging CBs.
If all else fails and the players cannot come
to a win conclusion by the middle of their match,
then the Moderators will vote on the final outcome.
-
Always check the post that sets up the match to see what type of a match it is and if there are any set win situation.

» WHAT IS CW? (CREATURE WRESTLING)
- The
CW is a free online E-Fed/Role Playing/Match writing game intended to simulate professional wrestling. Its
an evolving E-Fed that changes over time and
adjusts to the player's best interests.
-
The
theme of the CW is based on the darkside of E-Fed/Wrestling. We have BOTH mortal and supernatural characters.
-
The
game system works alongside it's members-
where the players vote on title changes and
outcomes.
-
CW's officials are also called Board Moderators and are regarded as players as well. These board moderators help the game flow and storyline base.
|
| |
| No
matter what you do in the E-Fed, everybody
is affected by the in-game environment. You
get to choose what brand you want to work
for (can change @ anytime). However, you must
work for one or the other. If somebody claims
to be a Free Agent, they cannot obtain a tite. |
- Rules

- In
order to create an in-game fed you need
to ask permission first by emailing the
CW Administrator.
- Unapproved
in-game Feds will not be supported by the
CW nor will CW titles or items be allowed
to be held.
- In-game
Feds cannot create their own message boards
or website. If they do, they will be expelled
from the CW.
- Personal
webpages for bios/title histories/blogs
are allowed.
- In-game
Feds, once approved, can be whatever you
want them to be. Faction-based; wrestling-company-based.
However, they are "managed" by a fed owner
called a: CW Chairman.
- Other
Details:
- A maximum of 3 in-game Feds can exist
at one time in the CW.
- In-game Feds can be dissolved (Bankrupt
etc...) in storyline.
- In-game Feds can have matches.
- In-game Feds can have their own titles
but, there must be balance in # of titles
with the opposing Fed. You must ask
permission from the Admin to have a
title introduced. This depends on roster
ratio.
- In-game Feds can run their own PPV
events at the appropriate event lineups...
-
Note:
If there is an abuse of power your in-game
fed may either be expelled or a new District
Promoter will be voted on.
-
CW
District Promoter Lifespan: To balance the
power of the gameplay. A DP position is
regarded as temporary and may be rotated
to another player depending on roster ratio
