4: Publishing/posting
All
post(s) posted on CW boards is the property of the CW.
By publishing on our boards you relinquish any claim
to ownership to the post(s). The post(s) becomes CW property because you are using our
resources to post your content. This protects
the CW so that players do not threaten the company with invalid claims of owning a post(s). This protection also prevents issues with players leaving
the E-fed and wanting all their post(s) stripped or
sent to them. By using OUR resource to publish your material-
you have no say-so in how the post is published. If you are banned- your posts is still the property of the CW.
If
your found to be working for CW as a news columnist
or any other position that creates published news-
you are not allowed to have complete control over
everything that you publish. The CW has a strict
policy on keeping balance and reward players fairly.
Publishing columns can drastically influence the
flow of the game and as thus, columnist(s)
will have to report to the CW Administrator. The
Administrator has the final say-so over columns
published anywhere on the CW.
The age group is suggested at ADULT. Any posts that contain mature language will be tagged (MATURE). CW is not responsible mature content posted on the message boards or any location on CW.

Article 6: Ownership
Issues and Trademark of the CREATUREWRESTLING name:
The
CW respectfully owns the domain name: "CreatureWresting.com"
and the concept behind it.
If sites try and publish a domain name that contains
"creaturewrestling" in the address- we
will pursue legal action. We will also pursue any
sites that falsely claims they are a part of the
CW by the name Creature Wrestling of any sort.
The
cost of the domain name is paid by the owner of
the CW willingly. Anyone can promote the domain
name, site or boards etc. There are banners available
as an option.
CREATUREWRESTLING
is trademarked. The name was created in 1999 and
has been in use ever since that date by the owner
of this web site and company.
The officials ranks are voluntary and used to identify themselves within a story line/wrestling staff, and hold no corporate control over the company: except for the CW owner.
Article 7: CREATUREWRESTLING Ownership and Player's Copyright Rights:
Ownership
should be understood that the CW web site and concept behind the E-Fed is
owned by its founder. The brands used by the E-feds are also
a part of the company and is thus owned by the company.
Each player/team helper owns his/her story line/character/angle
and accomplishments in the game play. CW does not claim ownership over player story line/character(s)/angles or original imagery or media that they created.
However, when a player posts their contents on any CW boards or other forms of published content we created, the player's post(s) and it's
contents become public domain. CW owns the right to have your contents published/posted or not. CW also has the right to tell you what you can and cannot publish on any resource we use and own.
Players may make web site(s)
to host their bios/have forums to discuss information pertaining to their creations/and
alternative online environments, but players may not steal CW graphics, web site contents or concepts that are exclusive to the CW.
Article 8: About E-Feds that emulate the CW:
- CW is an independent E-Fed
game site. In addition, CW respectfully
recognizes itself as the originator, owner and founder of
"Creature Wrestling." All copyrights are active and will be enforced to the best of our abilities.
- E-feds that spams our boards, or
bring in their titles that were not okayed by the company
will be immediately removed.
- The CW will press charges against
any organization that use our original creations.
That includes: stories, flash, images or other forms of original visuals that
was created by CW. Content that came from stock images, videos, publications and content that may have a copyright on it used for the boards by players are outside our control. For these materials, CW does not claim any copyright over and will remove this content if the content infringes.
- Any emulated E-feds that was created by former CW players in order to do harm to our roster, game play and/or reputation will be immediately ignored and regarded as E-Feds ripping off CW material. Any form of in-game timeline and any chance at an affiliation with our E-Fed will also be disregarded.
- Slanderous postings done on other boards about CW;
E-Feds affecting CW members with inappropriate conduct, wrongful email letters to hinder the CW's
growth and provoked personal attacks are issues
that we won't tolerate or harbor.
- CW Players however that are on the roster will be monitored
if they also play on E-Feds that are in the business to
personally attack this E-Fed. However as much as they try,
this isn't television and in no way they have any leverage
on our organization.
- CW's in-game timeline and official matches only
exists on it's official message boards and no where else on the internet.
- Our
system is regarded as unique and original- this does not
mean that being an official (past or present) gives you
the right to copy or use the game system
or claim founder ship/ownership. Any E-feds copying our system is regarded lowly and shameful.
CW will also not have affiliation with places that shameful
disrespects this organization as well.
Article 9: Personal
Attacks and Acts of Malice including "Suing":
Letter from the CW Owner:
"Even
though the CW E-Fed is a wondrous place, there
comes a time when a disgruntled player or
fan believes that they can attack the E-Fed and
produce outrageous claims.
These
made-up rights are
exactly that- made up.
The
ability to view a site from your browser does
not allow one to own that site even if you purchase
the internet provider's service to view it. The
only way a web site could be sued is if 1) that
site is a commercial site and you have purchased
a product from it. 2) if that site has copyright
infringed a work of art that isn't within public
domain. A work of art is legitimate if the imagery
has been created and documented officially. Literature
on the internet, and even imagery, are at the
risk of the owner(s). The CW understands that we have to use found images to properly display and represent the wrestlers and environment we are producing. However, we do everything in our power to create original graphics. And we are constantly striving to produce a web site that is 100% free of found images. If we infringe by using an imagery or music we are not suppose to, we will remove it immediately.
CW makes it very clear that when you
use our resources to produce your stories or expressions-
you do so with the understanding and agreeance
that you hold no rights over what happens to it
on the boards.
CW
is a non-commercial site, a fan site and most
importantly- it's a FREE site. No tender of any
kind was exchanged or valued. The only exception is the use of advertising affiliates such as Adsense by Google.com to supply our advertising budget.
Any false claims
or threats will be ignored and brought to the
attention of their service provider if they persist."
CW knows the proper use of copyrights and can distinguish
between true claims and false claims.

Article 10: Freedom
of Speech
We
reserve the right to publish anything that we so desire
within the realm of our own game rules. Only authorized
players will be allowed to publish articles and columns
of any topic and purpose with the direction of the CW owner. The CW owner has the final say-so
for anything that gets published.
Becoming a player on the CW does
not give you the right to do whatever you want. The CW
does not serve you nor do we have to answer for our own
actions. By joining the roster- and even entering the
site- you agree to all the game rules and copyrights in
the CW. You have the option to leave if you don't like
them.

personally.
- If
you bring nudity to the message board-
there must be a significant amount of
censoring. Such as cover areas that many
may seem too graphic/sensitive: reproductive

or (MA) in your subject header
3.
Wrongful Account Creation: First time
users are allowed to register only one character/account

else or a staff member, or create an "anonymous"
account to post inappropriately will be
removed appropriately and suspended. Multiple
account/characters are granted upon approval
by the staff and/or granted to players whom
have developed trust and performance. Furthermore,
a player cannot create another account/character
to push one of their other characters in
title matches/pushes.

are expected to refrain from "trolling"
threads and post with some level of maturity.
Trolling posts include the following actions
with the purpose of causing a disturbance
in the community:

low content posts or threads.

change to something completely different
from the original poster's intent.

reasons is prohibited.
6. Real-Life Threats
Users will be expected to refrain from posting
threats directed at any user(s) that refer
to violence in any form or nature to any
extent that is not directly related to the
forums.
7. Distribution of Others' Personal
Information
Releasing any information regarding any
one else's personal information about the
real life or forum account specifics without
prior consent is prohibited. This includes
phone numbers, addresses, passwords, and
private messages that are sent/received

directed towards the moderators will not
be tolerated.
10.
Obscene/Vulgar Behavior and Content
Posting material containing inappropriate
references or links to human anatomy or
bodily functions or are pornographic in
nature will not be tolerated (unless by
the nature/purpose of the storyline). Excessive
use of vulgar/inappropriate language that
is considered by the moderators as objectionable
will also not be tolerated. CW is a work-safe
board; If any image is considered unsafe
to view at work or at school, it does not
belong here.
11. Harassment
Harassing another user is prohibited. However,
the nature of harassment is very fluid and
it is up to the moderators' discretion on
whether or not a remark is considered harassment.
Flames, rants, and insults will generally
not be considered harassment. If another
user is following you around on the forums
to constantly insult you, this may be considered harassment. If this is the
case, discuss it with the harasser over
PM or email before contacting a moderator
about it. Posting images of users in a harassing
fashion is prohibited. Keep in mind that
moderators have the final say on the distinction
between harassment and normal sass.
------------------------------------
Failure
to abide by the previous rules will lead
to a warning or a banning of access to the
web site Both are issued depending on the
severity of the matter at hand that is determined
by the moderator that is moderating that
particular case at that particular time.
If the breach of this code of conduct is
severe enough, a user may be banned without
any prior notice. Using a proxy to access
or attempt to access CW after being IP banned
will be considered computer trespass and
appropriate actions will follow, to a moderator
s discretion. Moderators have final say
in any and all matters.
CW may add to, change or remove any part
of the Code of Conduct at any time, without
notice.
Any changes to the Code of Conduct or any
terms posted on this site apply as soon
as they are posted. By continuing to access
this site, you are indicating your acceptance
to this Code of Conduct.
All in all, CW is a free community that
is for the users. You can interact with
thousands of other posters at any given
time, with a plethora of topics to discuss.
Remember that this forum is all in good
fun and that there are many different types
of people who enjoy these services. While
you may not agree with them on all stances,
together as a whole can we interact and
have a great time. Overall,
the CW Administrator may at anytime for
any reason choose the appropriate penalty
to you if you violate, disrupt the game play
and/or provide a reason to suspect you for
providing false information. The levels
of penalties are commonly:
1.
Warning: This is usually when a player
has done something in the game or out
of game that violated our rules/code of
conduct but the moderator has decided
to warn you instead. If you have been
given a warning you are expected to improve
and obey the warning. Warnings are covered
with the 3-strike rule (see below). Moderators
do not have to give out warnings depending
on the severity of the violation and can
move straight to any of the levels of
penalties below:
2.
Suspension: A player will be placed on
suspension if you are found in violation
of our rules. Once under suspension you
are temporary unable to post and to interact
with the e-fed and it's roster. There
is typically a timeframe that you must
wait until the suspension is over with.
While under suspension, your behavior
is evaluated and checked. Further discipline
will apply if necessary.
3.
Perma-Suspended: This means that a player
has been officially suspended and can
never re-sign to the CW. If at such a
time a player wishes to re-sign to CW
the only way that can be accomplished
would be to undisputedly prove that a
player has changed it's ways and have
shown drastic improvements in both behavior,
maturity and team work.
4.
Banned: If a player is banned, then you
will not be able to re-sign to the CW.
Entering/interacting with CW and/or it's
players will be considered as trespassing.
5.
Perma-Banned: This is the same as banned
but your IP Address is also blocked. If
you are perma-banned and enter CW you
are trespassing. You can never re-sign
to CW if you were perma-banned or allowed
to view the web site/message board.
