Origins

Crimsonlight was taken from the nanobot filled blood from Charon Death, and engineered through intense research involving technology that Kizmat left in the care of Alexander Arcane.

Reverend Jones was the first to propose the concept of reversing the genes which turns a normal person into a Creature by changing the neurons of Limelight into a negative charge. After many trials and inhuman subjects later- crimsonlight was produced by the efforts of the Arcane Family and Reverend Jones.

The first time crimsonlight came into being was when a creature was shot with the light through an gun adapter- called a crimson lightgun at a famous Creature night club. Crimsonlight was then used in the first ever, Match to End All Matches on CreatureMania X

Crimsonlight is the negative charge of Limelight. Instead of harnessing life for power- crimsonlight drains life and expels power. The idea behind using crimsonlight by Reverend Jones was to abstract the genes which produced limelight in a creature. However, crimsonlight was too powerful and unstable. Instead, the Arcanes sought to use crimsonlight to destroy key enemies such as Red Spyder and Darkspade at CreatureMania X while lying to Reverend Jones that only those with a pure heart can survive the process.

The Arcanes were able to convince Reverend Jones that crimsonlight can in fact change a Creature to a mortal human when they brought out a mortal Kizmat. However, what Reverend Jones didn't know was that this Kizmat was a shadow clone and never possessed any creature powers.

Description of Crimsonlight

Crimsonlight gives off a deeply red neon light which is very toxic. Unlike limelight- crimsonlight is a liquid and the only way for it to be used without harming the person handling it is by shooting the substance through a crimson light gun.

Side effects

The only known side effects of crimsonlight are instant death. If the crimsonlight hits a living being, the lifeforce is sucked out and expelled... the intensity of life will open a stream which distorts time and space where the person last stood (called an opalescent Stream).

An opalescent stream can be controlled through the use of limelight amplifier- very similar to a magnet. A person can theoretically jump into an opalescent stream and appear at another place - much like a wormhole. Opalescent streams were purposely used in the main event on CreatureMania X which allowed for a match to be held all across the entire world at once!
