POSTING TEMPLATE
When you post anything in the e-fed, the typical post starts out in three sections. If your unsure how to post, follow this template:
1. INTRODUCTION:
Insert here an introduction. First, imagine where your character is at. Such as, an arena. Then post a description of your entrance. This can be your music, your CreatureTron (CW's version of WWE's TitanTron), your character's atire, your character's appearance and how are you walking towards the ring. You can be very elaborate in your intros. The more you describe the better your post becomes! which in turn, boosts your reputation.
2. BODY:
The body of the post is the most important. Usually this happens immediately after your intro/appearence. Imagine how other wrestlers act on TV- this is your body. In your body, you can do many things such as: Calling out other wrestlers for a challenge, answering someone elses challenge, debuting yourself to the efed, demanding certain wrestlers to pay attension to you- the sky is the limit! But usually in the body, you also have descriptions. Again, imagine what wrestlers do on TV and try and do the same thing but write it out.
3. CONCLUSION/ENDING: The ending is transparent to the body. It can happen once the wrestler stops talking or you can write your character walking out of the ring and up the stage to exit. Conclusion/endings can also be open-ended- allowing players a chance to come in with a reply and extend the entire scene.
TIPS: The best way to write is to examine what other people have done on the boards and emulate their format. Ask yourself, what makes their post so great? A trick is to study real life wrestling shows and be as descriptive as possible. You don't have to write a novel, but if you are not clear and descriptive then people won't know what your post is about and become confused. Also, always try and read your replies or the post your repling too- if your too far off of the story then it makes no sense and can confuse your reader. This template is just a basic framework over how to post a typical post- there are unlimited ways to post on the e-fed. BE CREATIVE! but don't be a nuisance.
