BIRTH NAME: Ravina Federov
PLACE OF BIRTH: Quebec, Canada
AGE: Late 20's
FACE CLAIM: Abadon
RING NAME: Wendigo
NICKNAME(S): The Last Monster
BILLED FROM: The Black Forest
HEIGHT: 5'8"
WEIGHT: 209 lbs
ALIGNMENT: Lawful Evil, obeys the rules of the laws of nature, but views herself as its top predator, and will feast upon anyone who gets in her way.
WHAT BRINGS YOU TO CREATURE WRESTLING?
As her journey through the world of what seemed to be pro wrestling drifted her towards the realm of possibilities, the scents of strong competition led her to the summit. A place that she may find herself in. So many scents here, that seem to reek of confidence. A place that held monsters once, but has lost that sensibility. It will have monsters again. It truly will.
PERSONALITY OVERVIEW: Genuinely Monstrous and Beast-like, views the entire world in terms of prey and not prey. What is a hunter and hunted. Wendigo views herself as a monster, whether that is true or not, and her mindset is reflected in how she reacts with others. To those she views as prey and huntable, she will do everything she can to torment and terrorize them, even taking things to great lengths. To those she views as threats, she will become defensively hostile and territorial.
STRENGTHS: A killers mindset and a monstrous ideology. Wendigo enjoys tormenting and terrorizing others, and is often known to stalk them to their homes to that end. To add onto this mystique and aura, very little is known of her true background, and she keeps that close to vest. Her greatest strength is her in depth knowledge of psychological warfare, and her ability to ply it with her own beastial tactics in ring.
WEAKNESSES: Equally adding to this point, Wendigo is a loner and an animal. Genuine strategy is fully off the table for her, and any "tactics" that others might utilize are fully lost on her. She cannot strategize nor can she understand others on a level outside of her own mindset, as such teamwork is also off the table. And biggest of all, her desire to strike fear in others leads her to be terrified of those that are truly unafraid.
WHY THEY'D BE CHEERED: Her twisted love of violence and depraved level of in ring competition is a huge part of her, and would very much attract hardcore fans. Equally, her horror aesthetic and twisted nature would draw in fans of the horror genre as well.
WHY THEY'D BE BOOED: She is the definition of a monster, and plays to that fully. Tactics that others wouldn't utilize, she does to great affect, so babyface lovers would despise her utterly. Those that also are into pure wrestling would see her as a liability as she doesn't use a lot of genuine wrestling moves, or more accurately, her moves are based more around her nature than wrestling psychology.
REASONS TO COMPETE:
- BLOODLUST/VIOLENCE: Your character gets a thrill from the violence. For them, winning and losing is secondary to being able to spill the blood of another human being.
- PASSION: All your character has ever wanted to do is wrestle. It's in their blood; their DNA. They eat, breathe and live this sport and for them it's a way of life.
ATTITUDE TOWARDS TEAMWORK:
- ARMY OF ONE: They cannot be relied upon to work together. They came into the world alone and will go out alone. They are the epitome of lone wolf.
TENDENCY TO CHEAT:
- Rarely
THEME SONG: 'XIX' by Slipknot
WRESTLING EXPERIENCE: 1, trained independently prior to active competition, and was in a few smaller circuits in Europe.
WRESTLING STYLE:
- THE EXTREMIST: Relies on weaponry and their surroundings to abuse their opponents. Their primary objective, aside from victory, is to maim, bludgeon and incapacitate. Nothing is off-limits for this fighter.
MATCH TENDENCIES: To bloody, hurt, and outright injure opponents if need be. Has so little drive desire to do anything but strike fear into others, means that they are willing to hurt themselves and deliver the maximum amount of pain and anguish, if it means that they can accomplish what they desire. Often their matches will involve either themselves bleeding, or their opponents, often both.
BACKSTAGE TENDENCIES: If seen backstage, they are often prowling around the darker areas of backstage, following their newest prey, or terrorizing those that they come across. Aside from that, they would much rather be left alone in the shadows.
FIGHT-ENDING STYLE:
- ULTRA-VIOLENCE: Focused around brutality, using weapons and their surroundings, leaving their opponent no choice but to concede defeat.
IN-RING STRENGTHS:
- Determined Death: Lack of regard for their own bodies means that they are more than willing to ravage themselves to put an end to their opponent.
- Blood in the Water: This relentless focus pivots to their strange sixth sense for injuries. If a moments injury is noted, Wendigo will capitalize on it and begin to wear down on that specific area, regardless of if it matters for her finisher or not.
- "That's not Fear I smell is it?": Wendigo capitilizes on her mind games in and outside of the ring, knowing that getting into an opponents head is half the battle. This being noted, she will often terrorize her opponents, using their fear against them to force them into careless and dangerous situations.
IN-RING WEAKNESSES:
- Gnaw its own foot: Her own style of fighting leaves her very open to damage to herself, often to the point that she inflicts more harm on herself in the process of hurting others. This leads her to reckless and dangerous behavior that can cost her the match.
- A Beast more than a Man: Wendigo may have had some wrestling training, but she doesn't fight like it. Every motion is wild and beast like, which leaves her very open to those with actual wrestling training, and is easily locked into grapples and submissions.
- No Mind but for Murder: Her uncontrollable urge to strike fear can also be a hinderance to her. She desires and craves it, and opponents that seem to be fearless are her favorite targets. But encountering enemies that truly are fearless makes her vulnerable. Her rage leaves her open, and her own fears make her reckless and incapable of fighting to her fullest. In essence, if her opponent isn't afraid, then she is, and she is very vulnerable.
