What are the post-topic types?

For certain message boards, you may label your thread/post a specific post-topic-type. These help readers to know under what stipulations the posting thread falls under. Note- that the system allows you to apply a different post-type to individual messages within a thread… only the initial/first post in a thread tells what all other posts follow under regardless if a person changes the post-type with their individual posting.

Here they are (this is subjective and it may look different later):
Image

None: Default posting type- not labeled. The post could be any number of things- by default when its set to none, the post is considered an "Open Thread" but to be sure, contact the author.

Open Thread: Means that anyone can join in regardless, and without permission from the author(s).

Closed Thread: Means that only those allowed to join in can. You can't reply to this thread unless you contact the original author(s). Your post will likely be removed if you post without permission.

After Dark: This is an event that happens off-television which allows anywhere from promos/smack! talking, in-ring debuts, regular matches, cameos. This is also considered an OPEN THREAD unless the original author(s) write an ooc note at the top of their body post such as (ooc: This is a closed post).

Promo or Smack!: These are character specific promos/smacks! that are not tied to an after-dark event. It can be a backstage scene, really anywhere. These are always considered OPEN THREAD. Purpose of this is to grab a reader's attention and cause feuds.

Fight or Match: An impromptu fight or match. These can either be OPEN or CLOSED thread. By default they are OPEN THREAD unless the original author(s) write an ooc note at the top of their body post such as (ooc: This is a closed post).

Main Story: Is the main-storyline of the entire E-Fed and by default they are CLOSED THREAD. Only designated players are allowed to participate, but they can also be OPEN if the author(s) write an occ note at the top of their body post such as (ooc: This is an open post). Any player in the e-Fed can participate in the main story.

The purpose of the main storyline is to provide a flow, cohesiveness and a branch-off point for all players if they want. Lots of events and universal elements build from the main storyline.
