The Unholy One was without words- still trying to absorb what is going on here- he eventually brings himself to speak.
DS: "Angel. This is not right- and you know that, deep down yo-
Angel's eyes aglow she dismisses what her grandad says and erupts by raising her voice over him
"DO YOU EVEN HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH I HAVE TRIED TO PLAY NICE? In countless multi-verses, I have explored the possibilities to save my sons. Each moment, I could only watch, never act, bound by a power greater than my own. I am cursed to watch, over and over, again that moment in the forest which changed everything- just as Aeean Hades pointed out to my lover on that unholy night."
Darkspade lowers his head, raises it slightly to see Mamud standing there silent.
DS: "You say you have a plan? What is it?"
"Awh. Finally you ask the right question. My plan is her." Darkspade raises an eyebrow "To summon the all-powerful Oracle, you should know, she is after-all your daughter."
DS: "The Oracle?- the untainted child, Lilith. But why? She is just a caretaker of the Gates of Apocalypse. Is she- the one who bound you?"
Angel of Death was just about to speak when---
At that time, Charon and Cravus emerge from the bushes and meets a petrified Mamud- they too are shocked to see Angel of Death hovering over an unconscious Kizmat.
Mamud looks back at Charon and Cravus, and then interjects.
"The ethereal plane is beginning to crumble- Angel of Death, do you surely expect us to be trapped here?"
"... after I am done with my proclamation. The Creature Wars have already begun- when you return to the outside world- you will face opposition and expected destruction and, ultimately, death to The Creatures of the Night. The only way you will ever stop this is to summon The Oracle-- and only you can do it, Darkspade. Your role is crucial, your actions are pivotal."
Charon screams out-loud
"Dad, do not listen to her- let us kill her now!" [Cravus readies his blade] but his blade is heavy with a spell of some kind- then, from the sidelines, Uncle Howdy emerges, holding the black heart of The Undertaker, apparently forcing Cravus to stop.
Charon, too, is cemented to the ground by a the force inflicted upon her. "Dad. Dad?"
DS: "...... you did not explain why you need The Oracle- what do you intend--- you, mean, to kill her? is that it?"
Kizmat groans and exits his state of unconsciousness. The Angel of Death raises her right hand. Kizmat then levitates into the air and is flung to the other side of the riverbed by the allies, whereas Uncle Howdy meets up with the Angel of Death on their side of the riverbed.
"Yes."
Darkspade realizes the position he is in.
DS: "Your answer is, no. I will not kill my own daughter- even if she was out of the picture, how does that change your predicament? Again- is Lilith the one preventing you to act?"
"I... I... am not sure, the problem has not been defined, this is my hunch given all of the other timelines I have encountered. Even to this very moment- is all new to me."
Then, Uncle Howdy looks up and sees a gigantic crack in the dark forbidding sky.... the Ethereal Plane is unstable--- he then tugs at Angel of Death's cloak- she looks over briefly and then back at the allies.
The allies also notices the instability...
"I will spare you- and send you away from here to the outside world- but heed this- the longer you refuse me, granddad, the more suffering there will be. So, again, will you summon her?"
Charon: "Dad.... don't she can't be trusted!"
DS: "... your answer is still, no."
**Angel of Death's eyes aglow with blood red hatred- and making her once black hair aflame with the same red glow**
"Then, suffer, suffer like you have never suffered before!!!!!!!!"
Crashes of lightning then struck the foreboding land—mountains breaking apart, and the sky cracking. Then, Angel waved her hand. In a blink, the scene shifted, and all was black.
When the darkness lifted, the allies found themselves back in the foyer at Death Manor, with Kizmat groaning on the floor, and alongside him were shards of a broken Urn.
