Ash Cinders VS Xstasy

Both men collapse down to the mat and lie beside each other, looking up at the bright lights shining back down at them. The crowd cheer and applaud in an attempt to get the men to get back up to their feet. The referee kneels between the 2 men and checks on them both, they both appear to be okay so he gets back up and moves out of the way. Then all of a sudden both men knip up to their feet and stare each other down in the centre of the ring. Xstasy and Ash raise their hands in a wrestling stance and Xstasy charges at Ash, he ducks under Ash’s clothesline and grabs him from behind. He grabs Ash’s arm and holds his wrist behind his back in a Hammerlock. Ash taps his shoulder warily to test its strength as X wrenches his arm right up his back. Ash reaches back with his free hand and grabs Xstasy by the head, he leaps up and then rolls Xstasy forward over his shoulder into a Snapmare. Ash gets on his knees and locks in a rear chin lock on Xstasy, pushing him down to mat to imobilise him.

JR: I think this is a good tactic from the more mat based Ash Cinders.

King: I agree, Ash needs to keep this match at his own pace.

Xstasy slides around the mat and eventually gets his legs up around Ash’s head and arm, he forces Ash to let go of the hold with his legs and then rolls out backwards. Xstasy charges at Ash but Ash gets up to his feet and pushes a charging Xstasy high into the air, he elevates Xstasy up into a Back Body Drop but at the last second grabs a hold of his leg and pulls him down into an Inverted Flapjack, confusing Xstasy and driving him down into the mat head first! Ash gets up to his feet quickly and turns to face Xstasy, who is groggily getting up to his knees. Xstasy shakes his head and gets up to his feet, Ash kicks him in the gut and hooks Xstasy’s head, he spins Xstasy around with an Inverted Spinning Neckbreaker and then looks down at Xstasy lying on the mat. He smiles and then climbs the turnbuckle doing Eddie Guerrero’s ‘Feeling Froggy’ taunt (:\).

JR: Ash is taking this up to the turnbuckle.. could this be a mistake?

King: We’ll see in just a second I suppose...

Ash taunts and then jumps from the top into his Frogsplash... will he land it?

Ash Cinders stands on the turnbuckle with his arms stretched out, posing in all of his glory as he stands high above the bloodied Xstasy. The crowd begins to boo at the cocky display by Ash Cinders but he only smirks at the reaction. Ash Cinders then adjusts himself on the top, AND FLIES OFF WITH THE SOARING PHOENIX CONNECTING WITH XSTASY - RIGHT ONTO THE KNEES!!! Xstasy lifted his knees just in time to block that high flying move by Ash! Ash Cinders crashes into them and flips over, then rolls across the ring holding his ribs in pain from the reversal. Ash Cinders took way too much time up there and he payed for it!

Xstasy grabs the bottom rope and slowly gets up to his feet, holding his neck and still in a little pain from that inverted spinning neckbreaker. Xstasy looks around the ring and spots Ash lying near the opposite corner. Xstasy goes to Ash and grabs him up, then smacks him right in the jaw with a right hand. Ash Cinders stands on his feet dazed as Xstasy runs backwards towards the ropes. Xstasy flies back towards Ash and ducks a punch from Ash, he then bounces on the ropes behind Ash and connects with a somersault facebuster! An impressive move from Xstasy! Xstasy quickly scrambles over for the pin and hooks the leg, 1..........2.......Shoulder up! Ash just got his shoulder up in time!

Xstasy glares at the referee for a moment, then quickly lifts Ash up to his feet. Xstasy hits Ash in the midsection with a hard shot, then he grabs Ash by the back of the neck with both hands AND HITS A BEAUTIFUL MONKEY FLIP! WAIT, Ash continues to flip and lands nimbly onto his feet! Xstasy turns around to see Ash standing upon his feet and quickly rushes towards him, but runs into a kick to the stomach from Ash! Ash hooks Xstasy's arm over his own head and takes a step backwards towards the ropes, HE THEN SUPLEXES XSTASY RIGHT OVER THE TOP ROPE! Wait, Xstasy lands on the ring apron but Ash still holds on, AND CONNECTS WITH A HANGMAN NECKBREAKER! The back of Xstasy's head bounces right off of those ropes! Xstasy bounces off the ring apron and flies to the hard outside! Ash lies on the ground for a moment and begins to get back up to his feet, still suffering from the reversal of the Soaring Phoenix. Xstasy lies out on the outside nursing his neck after that innovative hangman neckbreaker.

Xstasy lies face down on the outside, clutching the back of his neck with both hands as Ash still stands in the ring with a smile on his face. Ash walks over to the ropes where he just neckbreakered Xstasy and steps between the 2nd and 3rd ropes calmly. He hops down from the apron and down onto the floor, still in no hurry, he approaches Xstasy and rolls him over onto his back. Xstasy looks up at Ash holding his neck with a vulnerable look on his face, Ash kneels down and looks X in the eyes before bringing back his arm and slapping Xstasy across the face with the back of his hand. Xstasy turns his face and then touches his cheek for a second as Ash grabs him quickly in a face lock. Ash hooks Xstasy’s arm and then pulls Xstasy up into a Vertical Suplex position, he holds it there for a second but Xstasy grabs the side of the cell with his free arm, stopping Ash from dropping him down hard onto the thin madding at ringside. Ash yanks Xstasy back slightly in an attempt to get him to let go but Xstasy refuses, keeping a firm grip on the cell. Xstasy begins to kick his legs and Ash shakes his head in denial that Xstasy is fighting back. Xstasy turns quickly and drops down behind Ash, he then starts to run and pushes Ash face first into the side of the cell! Both men collapse in a heap on top of each other!

JR: Xstasy avoided being Suplexed on the floor, but he’s still pretty shaken from that Hangman’s Noose Neckbreaker.

King: I think both men need a breather after a frantic start to the match.

Xstasy slowly stumbles up to his feet with a dazed look in his eyes, he falls down against the apron and catches his breath for a second before he looks up to the top turnbuckle in the ring. Ash is still out of the floor as Xstasy climbs onto the apron and then begins scaling the turnbuckle. As X reaches the second turnbuckle Ash opens his eyes and a smile begins to spread across his face. He gets up to his feet with surprising speed and jumps up onto the apron. Xstasy sees this at the last second but it’s too late as Ash jumps up beside him on the turnbuckle. Ash grabs Xstasy around the waist and then dives into the ring with Xstasy in front of him. Ash lands on hos knees and slams Xstasy down to the mat with a Spinebuster!! Xstasy clutches at his lower back as Ash kneels with a sadistic smile on his face.

JR: Ash Cinders just slammed Xstasy all the way from the top rope!!

King: He shows no mercy for his former mentor once again...
