To Win Brawls, Matches, Tournaments and Championships

Since this is a hybrid federation: meaning that we incorporate booking and angle federation styles into one, you are expected to create role-play posts on a regular basis and develop quality matches in order to win. Players have two options when it come down to winning anything in this e-fed.

1. Basic formula for full-time wrestling players- win by players:
By default, a match is determined by the players involved in it. There is no official intervention unless the players cannot decide on a winner @ the 8th post in the match. Many players go for this option but keep in mind that you have to stay constantly in touch with your opponent.

2. Basic formula for full-time wrestling players- the 50/50 rule:

# and quality of your role plays leading up to a match +# and quality of your posts in a match = WIN

This  rubric is used by officials to determine the default winner.

50/50 Rule:Participation Pts:
Quality of your role play for a match (max 4 posts)
– # of posts = multipliers to your base score: 10-20pts
total amt
Quality of your posts during the match (max 4 posts)
– # of posts = multipliers to your base score: 10-20pts

ROLE-PLAYS:
So in other words, the effort and number of role plays during a week will determine your participation points. The “window” period, the period leading up to a match, is regarded as judge-able by officials. The window can be as long as 2 weeks or 4 weeks depending on the current event that is running. A role-play is not considered official until you contact an official to have them judge it. You may only ask for an official to judge 1 role play each week- officials will review the post and vote on a base score. 50pts for average; 100 for good. Multipliers to your base score of 10-20 extra points can occur if you sat up a thread which involves more posts. However, you can only have 1 thread judged per week and only a maximum of 4 posts within that thread are eligible. Officials decide on the posts that are judge-able… so you never know which ones they select… this prevents posters to make only 4 good posts and then poor posts after.

You have up to (2) official role plays leading up to a TV event like CW MAD; or (4) role plays leading up to a major PPV like CreatureMania.

Any other role-plays, even related to the match, that are not judge-able or official do not count to your score.

MATCHES:
Determining the score for matches may be simpler/easier than RP scores but without RP scores you can never win. Simply put- the officials will look at the first (4) posts by each participant and judge the player on both quality and quantity and give a base score to each of them. Quantity is not the # of posts you make but the length of your writing- those will be the multipliers. AFTER that, the officials will combine the RP and match scores and release the winner. The winner of the match, by default, writes the ending. The match pre-determined win can be overturned for any behavioral reasons, breaking of the rules, refusal to go with the official’s decisions or if the quality/quantity of the winner change for that match.

A match ends @ the 8th post within the match (4 for each player excluding their introductions). But the match can continue well after that but no posts will be judged unless the overall quality/quantity declines.

Other things to know about:

  • For title changes, a title can change hands at anytime and at anyplace for as long as their was an arrangement made or if the 50/50 rule calls for an official to vote on a match. However, a champion does not have to lose their title until a certain amount of time. This is called: STF (Suggested Title Frame). You can read more under the “Championships” section.
  • Tournaments are always voted on either by officials or by public vote. The win situation can also be dictated and told who you are to eliminate.

Posting To Official Matches

  • Official matches/events however are only posted by CW Officials. When an official event has been setup you post to the designated event typically under the Major PPV and/or CWE/ECT TV event forums. The only exception is the CW Infiltrate forum were you can setup your very own match with your opponent(s) at anytime.

  • When posting how do you respond?
    • For matches: You first post an entrance and you usually wait for your opponet to make his/her entrance before posting a battle scene. You CAN post some fighting in your entrance but you have to wait till everybody has posted actually arriving on scene.
    • Order of entrance into a match is typically done like this:
      • If its a championship match, the challenger arrives first and the champion arrives last.
      • If nobody is champion, you arrive by the alphabetical order of your character’s first name.
For example: John Doe makes his entrance first over Vince Pain.
      • If there are multiple champions then you go by the alphabetical order of your first name.
      • You have the option to choose to arrive when you can arrive. You do not need to wait for anybody to post- including the champion. However the above order is for those that can’t decide who should enter first or second etc…
      • In tournaments, there is no order of arrival. You show up when you can post your entrance.
    • Order of responding/continuing a match or normal post:
      • In all matches that are Player VS Player, you rotate your posts till you arrive to your endings.
      • In all matches that are Players VS Players (more than one opponent and/or team mate) you DO NOT HAVE a posting order. You go by first come first serve.
      • If a player(s) posted at the same time and there is a conflict- what you do is either go by the post created first -or- use your judgment and select/combine the best possible response that can continue the storyline and/or match.
      • You cannot double post which is posting to your reply. The only exception would be if your posting a body of stories like a diary or reflection scene.
    • For matches: the typical time you post the end of your match is really up to you and your oppoents. However, endings should be the 8th post in your match if you cannot decide.
