Origins

Limelight was originally introduced in the CW Universe when The Evangelion first appeared as a wrestler in the CW organization as an eerie effect from his eyes. Later, it was revealed that limelight was the source behind Evangelion's unique and eerie powers and that it was supernaturally engineered by Scientists from EVA_CORP.

The origin of limelight was vaguely linked to Neo-Earth and the Evil Queen Lilith for many years. Details on the origin didn't surface until the time of CreatureMania X when Charon's daughter Angel was kidnapped and taken to Neo-Earth.

Oddly many key people in the CW Universe for years had an idea what Limelight was and they were partially correct. But it was when Angel was kidnapped that many scenes unfolded of the true origins- that Limelight was the life source of all life but it was the abstraction of life from Creatures which produced the light's true haunting powers.

So limelight is life in a sense- but it was only possible to be produced in Neo-Earth with Lilith's Hive.

Description of Limelight

Limelight is a neon lime green substance in a liquid vapor form. Limelight appears to be incapable of changing into other properties- such as a solid state or pure liquid. The light gives off an intense radiation which affects anyone around it. It is possible to inject limelight into a body.

The light has the ability to enhance one's physical and mental attributes. However, if the subject is incompatible to the light through direct contact or injection- then they may experience irreversible side effects including, death.

One of the key side effects to Limelight, which was experienced by The Evangelion, is a void of human emotion and morals... including memory lost.
