Sometime around 2000, the e-fed expanded to include many players and typical events on the PPV Board wasn't enough to satisfy the craving for larger content. Since it is difficult to use message boards to simulate real life- since it's an asynchronous environment - a new concept had to be created to control the way an event can handle so many players all at once.

Before, other officials tried to dabble with a large tourney (such as: Kreature of The Ring) but they found it difficult to create a method that made any sense.

Time Frame Blocks was then created by Darkspade to finally divide a certain block of time during an event. TF Blocks was made in this format: (TF Block: 0->10mins). In actuality, the block of time represented was fictional and served no real purpose other than noting what the in-game time would be during the match. This allowed players to literately include how long they have been playing.

The main purpose behind TF Blocks was to introduce a dynamic way to play with large amount of players in a controlled environment but leave it flexible enough to have many different and impromptu outcomes.

Matches spawned using this system included:

Nobody before or after devised a system as effective as the TF Block system to control the flow of a massive event. CWE produced many amazing tournaments which became iconic of it's efederation success.
