Title Drop Pass System was an answer to the problems faced with the STF system created by the CW E-Fed since 2002. The TDP system had a variety of variations and adjustments:

First variation

The first Title Drop Pass system also included the Successorship Pass System.

Originally, a player was to earn their way to be included on a waiting list by winning matches and participating in angles. After a champion's number of events to hold a title was up- the champion had to drop to whoever was on the waiting list. As a balance, if a champion requested a Successorship Pass, and then granted the pass based on their performance- then the champion could bypass the Title Drop Pass queue and drop to a player that has been in an angle/storyline with them. However, certain restrictions applied- such as if a successorship was used than the person on the waiting list would be guaranteed the next available drop even if the new champion wanted a successorship pass.

Second variation

The second variation used was a point system to determine who can be on the waiting list. The point system was a response to try and award players that role play since the efed was having troubles with people using the RPG board. CreatureBucks was the point system and currency used to award players with.

The title drop and successorship pass systems was only effective once a player earned enough points to be up for a title. Each title had a certain # of points that the player had to have in order to be a contender. At first, a set # of points was placed on the titles, but then it changed to a 20% reduction in points for that title. Players where also able to use their points to bid for a match win outcome. In addition, players were able to spend points for in-game stuff such as weapons to be used in the ring. This was to create a more official and fair way to use items in a match.

At first, the point system was working well and players where receiving points. The most rpgs ever done on the Bspeak Board was during the time that the CreatureBucks was in effect. However, because the point system required manual updates it was difficult to keep up and the system was discontinued. It was also discontinued because nobody was using their points except for some posts with item usage in them.

Altogether, the CB system was changed a few times (such as when and how players go points - even an allowance system was put in place to give players 20 points each month) until it was finally dropped for the third variation.

Third variation

The last variation of the TDP system was the most fluid and moved closer to the STF system. In this system, the player could hold their title for a certain amount of events, not months. Once the player reached his/her event limit- the title would be on the line but only to those on a waiting list. To get on the waiting list the players had to request this and win a certain amount of matches and stay active.

This system was dropped for a new version of the STF system which made certain titles exempted.
