Sheri: ““God you are such a jerk, you know that? You really wanna start tallying up fair here? Let’s see, Champ... you cost me my job, my home, threatened to slice my head off if I didn’t go along with your schemes, and got some freaky robot zombie after the both of us all because of that shiny belt. Oh, and let’s not forget, in helping you retain the shiny belt, I had to get a freaking vampire with a freakishly long tongue to chase me around while you were busy recovering from some stupid attempt at showboating. I’m gonna have nightmares about that tongue, too. You’re welcome, by the way.”

The Accident

What began as a normal Saturday evening in October consisting of a double date at the drive-in movie theater ended in tragedy. After watching a cheesy B-grade zombie flick, Sheri’s boyfriend Chase brought up the idea of going to Green’s Creek cemetery. Located on a remote road on the edge of the county, the cemetery was home to ‘The Witch’s Tomb’, a local legend in those parts. The couples agreed, and Chase set off towards the cemetery. It began to rain, but determined to find the elusive glowing grave Chase pressed on, losing control of the car on a sharp curve right before the turn off to Green’s Creek. The car slid off down into a ravine, the impact igniting the gas tank. Sheri had not worn her seatbelt, and was thrown from the vehicle, and thus spared a fiery death. The sole survivor of the accident, she was near death when a deputy patrolling the area came across the wreck. Sheri was rushed to the local hospital, where she was not expected to make it through the night.

Road to Recovery

Sheri languished in a coma for three long months, and had been written off as unlikely to ever recover. Stunning her doctors and family by waking in mid January with her mental faculties miraculously intact, Sheri still had a long road ahead of her. While the injuries she’d sustained in the wreck had been relatively minor considering the circumstances, she still required extensive therapy that her family struggled to pay for. Their insurance would only cover a few weeks at most, and so far she’d failed to make any significant progress.

As she was nearing the end of her final week of therapy, it looked like she’d spend her days in a wheelchair. The insurance company refused to cover any more therapy, and there was no way her parents could afford private pay. After a particularly grueling session involving coming to terms with the deaths of Chase and their friends that left her in tears, followed by yet another failed attempt to take a few steps with a walker, her emotions were running high.

Shouting that she wished she’d died in the accident, the walker that she’d abandoned lifted three feet off the ground and slammed into a wall, hurled by forces unseen. Both frightened and intrigued, Sheri sought to not only develop the strength to walk again, but also to develop this new talent. Very soon afterwards, her family was notified that Sheri’s medical bills were being covered by a corporation that had taken interest in her case and wished to sponsor what they called her ‘burgeoning talents’. In exchange for footing the entire bill for her hospital stay and therapy, they offered her a position with The Company, which she accepted.

Columbia

It was a Company job in Columbia that would introduce her to the man known as Deadblood. What was ostensibly a low risk weapons-for-cash job with a local cartel run by La Espina went terribly wrong, with the cartel turning on them. Sheri used her telekinesis to fend the cartel off while the duo were bound to chairs, and when she was spent Deadblood aided her in escaping. After shooting, and slashing his way through La Espina’s men, they fled into the jungle. There they managed to blow up the remaining men with a bomb and DB slit La Espina's throat, freeing them any immediate danger of the cartel. Here they parted ways, with Sheri going on to perform many other jobs for The Company, her powers growing with time and practice.

Back in the Picture

Surprising Deadblood in his apartment after his victory against Gunther for the Absolute Undisputed Championship title, Sheri told him that the company was keeping tabs on him, and his failure to kill Alexander Arcane had not gone unnoticed. Deadblood assured Sheri that there was no need to doubt him, that he was merely biding his time and waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. Mollified for the time being, she departed with a warning that should he fail, she’d be back on much less friendly terms.

Beginning of a Partnership

Sheri returned to confront Deadblood after he failed to go through with assassinating Alexander Arcane. Since he’d broken his word and had thus put her in violation of her own contract, she intended to kill him and then take on Arcane herself to redeem herself in the eyes of The Company. Deadblood proved to be a more fierce enemy than she’d bargained for however, especially with the powers conferred upon him by his freshly-won title.

After a brutal fight that took them through the city streets, alleyways and abandoned buildings and resulted in the loss of his beloved motorcycle, their fight ended in the commissary of a restaurant where Deadblood gained the upper hand. With katana to her throat, he made an offer she couldn’t refuse: Join him in CW as his valet, where they could evade The Company together, or die. Sheri grudgingly took the first option, and made plans to meet him the following night to discuss their new venture.

Deadblood: "There's a lot of benefits to be had if you join me. What I've gotten myself into with CW, with Alex Arcane, is something much bigger than the company can ever hope to be. It's not just about the power that this 'shiny, freaky belt' has to it. If you join me, us, you won't have to worry about the company because you'll be protected."

Sheri: "How will I be protected though? Do you really believe that the company won't find a way to get to us eventually? Especially you.. You're the one running around with CW's shiny belt around your waist. The further you stick your head out there, the easier it'll be for the company to chop it off. If I join you, then my head will be out there too and I don't want it there. You might want to taunt the company and pretend you're untouchable, but I value my life."

Deadblood’s Valet

Acting as Deadblood’s valet, Sheri has aided him in matches against several prominent CW megastars including Kismat, King Gojinn, and Dark Spade. Her usual mode of operations is to use her telekinetic abilities from the ringside to distract and attack his opponents, allowing Deadblood to gain the upper hand, although she is not above entering the ring herself to deliver a cheap shot when the opportunity calls for it.

Quote:

“I know you said you don’t know who you will be facing, but any ideas? Something tells me it’s not just gonna be some guy that’s spent entirely too much time at the gym pumping iron or ‘Creature’ wouldn’t be in the name... Zombies? Werewolves? Aliens? Someone who took a hard bump in a wreck and woke up from a coma with some sort of freaky powers? Give me some idea of what I’ve signed up for here agreeing to valet for you.”

Company Conflicts

Since deserting The Company, Sheri and Deadblood have been involved in several conflicts involving their former employer.

CP-ZERO

A cyborg designed and created by Derek Scrivens, CP-ZERO was deployed to find and eliminate Deadblood and Sheri. CP-ZERO boasted cybernetic augmentations, and was near invulnerable to any sort of attack. The cyborg stalked the duo relentlessly, always returning no matter what damage Deadblood and Sheri inflicted upon it. Even when faced with King Gojinn, CP-ZERO continued to take a licking and keep on ticking. CP-ZERO finally met it’s end at the hands of Deadblood firing a stream of crimson light sending both CP-ZERO and a psychically-shielded Gojinn backwards into a collection of gas pipes, resulting in an explosion that destroyed the cyborg.

Derek Scrivens

A ruthless Company project manager, Scrivens headed the cybernetic research and development team that resulted in the creation of his prototype CP-ZERO. Calculating, shrewd, and utterly determined to advance his projects no matter what the cost, Scrivens is a formidable enemy and will stop at nothing to see Deadblood and Sheri utterly destroyed.

Relationship with Deadblood

Sheri and Deadblood’s relationship has ranged from enemies, to partners, to a couple over the years. While Sheri’s original motivation for sticking with Deadblood was to shield herself from the wrath of The Company, after the destruction of CP-ZERO she could have gone her own way but chose to remain with him as his valet for CW events.

From there out a relationship slowly and quietly developed, the couple finally going public with a drawn out kiss before a match with Dark Spade in 2015. While they are now a couple they still continue to bicker constantly, although neither party seems to take any of it to heart.

Vigilantes

With Deadblood returning to his role as a vigilante, now accompanied by Sheri, the pair have encountered several denizens of the criminal underworld.

The Driller

Jeffrey Lorrin Williams III, the grandson of a notorious bank robber spent years developing a machine that was capable of tunneling underground and through the vault walls of the bank his grandfather died attempting to rob. His creation was a success, allowing him to penetrate the vault of the ‘unrobbable’ bank and make a clean getaway. Spurred on by his success and the desire to make a name for himself, Jeffrey III, dubbed ‘The Driller’ by police and media robbed several banks in the area before being thwarted by Deadblood and Sheri. After he collected a bag planted in the next bank on his hit list containing several pieces of Sheri’s jewelry along with her cellphone, they traced him back to his hideout via GPS. There they engaged in a brief fire fight that ended with Sheri shooting through a hose on his vehicle, resulting in The Driller being burned badly by steam. After alerting 911 using the office phone in The Driller’s junkyard, they fled, leaving him there for the authorities to collect.

Sheri: “So, if he’s just doing a very high tech version of a smash and grab, why not leave something tempting out for him to snatch?”

Biggie Mac

A pimp with a taste for the fast, greasy things in life, Biggie Mac runs a large prostitution ring, as well as dabbling in drugs and weapon sales. Biggie’s greatest love is money and fast food, and his appetite for both is as enormous as the man himself. When Biggie’s prostitutes begin turning up dead at a rapid pace, he attracts the attention of Deadblood and Sheri, who have since visited Wang to build up a vast arsenal capable of taking on criminals, including Deadblood’s infamous Grapple Gun. After investigating the most recent crime scene, Deadblood and Sheri set about infiltrating Biggie’s McMansion hoping to get to the bottom of why so many prostitutes are being murdered.

Sheri: “Goddammit Deadblood! Who do you think you are, fucking Batman? This isn’t the fucking Batcave! Don’t fire that thing in the house!”
