CW ADMINISTRATOR

Administrator: The highest official rank in the E-Fed (equivalent to the Promoter position). The administrator oversees the entire operation of the E-Fed and has booking, event, title and storyline/pushing powers. The admin also regulates/enforces and manages the board's operation including what is and what isn't acceptable behavior. The admin also controls warnings and bans. Lastly, the admin is also the Head Booker (manages/schedules the events), Editor-in-chief and can control who is an official both in-game and out.

Co-Administrator: The co-admin is equivalent to the administrator with exception that co-admin doesn't own the e-fed and generally the Admin can conduct his/her job without approval of decisions first. Even though most (or all) of the time the two admins discuss and closely work together before releasing any major changes to the e-fed. Small changes to the e-fed, like in-game story changes require no consulting. The two admins work in unison to provide a fair check/balancing environment for the players. The co-admin shares all of the responsibilities that the Admin has with some differences such as the co-admin is also the Head Booker but not the Editor-in-Chief (unless the admin is absent).

History

The CW Admin position formed from the collection of both good and bad experiences from previous incarnations of the official system. The reason why the Admin system was developed was to differentiate further the role of "in-game" and "out-of-game officials." It was also to provide a system where two admins were present instead of just one. Even though the Promoter system was highly effective and the e-fed thrived from that era- some players would intentionally cause drama and headache which would collapse on top of the Promoter- even though, the official system at that time included up to 5 officials.

So it was to reduce the problem of 'finger-pointing' and blaming all of the issues on the decisions of 1 person (even though the promoter consulted other ppl), a shared e-fed head position was created. Often times, the old official system would rotate officials because nobody did much but provide their votes and occasional comments. Some players did not understand or want to hear the entire story.

The other reason for the change was because of the 2005 CWE Closure. After the closure, a lot of backlash was made at the Promoter that came from people which were jealous of not being able to call the shots and control the e-fed for themselves. The new direction for the e-fed drastically changed the official system. For one, there was no more need for 5 or more officials. There was always problems with too many players acting as 'officials' even though many of them didn't do much officiating. Second, the players were now a part of the official/decision making in that they acted as members of the board.

Later, because of roster number and through experiments, the official system was condensed into two sections: Administrators and Committee Members. The committee members acted as representatives of the players and had a seat in suggesting and bringing up points to the administrators. While the use of public voting and other methods of resolving important match/title decisions were used much more. The concept of "official" vote was largely abolished in favor for public voting using internet polls.

Ever since the new system was set in place, CW has had very little if no drama in the e-fed from its players and title/tournament decisions became the decisions of the entire roster as opposed to a select few.
