Death Family Secrets
Twins of Death Family
The Death family consists of bloodlines that date back even before the creation of Adam. This elder clan of creatures hold a house in the kindred hierarchy and are regarded extremely dangerous. However, it is still unclear to this day why the Death family play such an instrumental role in many myths and legends. One of the legends is the birth of twins born of balance. Similar to that of Kizmat and Mortismere, if a person was born into the Death family exactly on the stroke of midnight that they will be consumed by the darkness. It is believed that the child born will inherit powers of absolute evil and most of all, the doors to the shadow realm will be opened.
Luckly, the Death family elders kept many legends under wraps- barely. According to documents uncovered, there was two seperate incidences when a set of death family twins came dangerously close to unlocking the legend.
Below is a diary writen by an elder:
"There are a lot of paralell's between Charon and Spade, Serin and Kali, even the names themselves and in history twins are considered special. Charon is pronounced Care-on so it almost sounds like Serin.
Kali and Charon were also separated at birth - almost like someone either in the Death family or someone outside doesn't want such a powerful force such as twins operating together. We already know that Morty has an obsession with the Death family but yet we don't really know why. The family is steeped in mystery and stories of people simply upping and vanishing.
It stared with Spade disappearing after his first wife was murdered and returned as Darkspade. Spade also tried to turn Charon to the darkside but Charon's twin was already separated from her at some point.
I am certain that Darkspade creates Charon through Damien with the aim of eventually controlling her and using her against the Death family in revenge for not looking for him when he disappeared. I figured that it would have been a private experiment, we already know that the Death family are incredibly intelligent and have fingers in all sorts of pies which would make them targets of many different groups and or factions.
Yes... Mrs. Juliances Death... or Julie for short. Her death was never really explained. But I believe that Spade had something to do with it more than some random hired hitman. See most Death family members will not admit it but Juliances and Damien Death where cheating behind Spade's back. And Julie's child was in fact Damien's.
Back then, Damien and Spade where the best of friends... yah yah.. I can't believe it myself but it's true I was there. Anyho- one night the brothers had a huge party and everybody got drunk. Juliances and Damien already where.... umm.. we.. you know :X during this time but Spade was jealous of their friendship- Spade was suspecious of them both! I think it was that night in fact.... it had to be. Because Julie suddenly spilled the beans!!!! Spade was devastated and a huge fight between Spade and Damien waged on in the household. The elders had to break them a part and they where nearly thrown out of the clan.
But you know what I think what happened? Spade sat the whole thing up to get Damien drunk. I don't know how or when Spade found out about the affair but since Damien he often drank heavily - he would quite often not remember what he'd done or where he'd been and it would be very easy for Spade to steal his DNA during these times. It was a perfect opportunity for Spade to seek revenge...
Spade uses some of his own DNA to altar Damien and Julie's child, he uses this as his control, so he will always know where she is once she has matured and her creature abilities kick in but there's one thing he doesn't count on - twins. He doesn't realise until much later that Julie gave birth to twins, he kills her as she is of no further use to him and Kali is snatched by the Elders who also don't realise until later that there is a second child.
Spade hides Charon in the adoption process, making sure she is adopted by parents from the UK and grows up away from the Death family, giving him time to try and raise her right from the start under the influence of the darkside but this exposes her to the influence of Kizmat who she feels a bond with for a reason neither of them can explain.
Spade also find out later that Charon was born on the last stroke of midnight and so discovers that she can be neither good nor evil as she was born exactly on the balance between night and day, which also means he can never completely control her either and neither can Mortismere.
Kali is raised by the Elders in the beleif that she is Charon, its not until she gets older that they too realise that she is one of a pair of twins and that they have the twin born to the day which means that Kali can never be really evil in the true sense of the word, they try their hardest to make her dark and bend to their will but she can't help but be good.
She tries to hate Charon but can't and vice versa so there is a sort of delicate balance between the two.
So that brings us to Spade and Serin, they are like the total opposite of Charon and Kali, its almost like a double yin and yang both Spade and Serin are dark characters both evil, you could say that Spade is born just before the balance of day and night so that there is a war constatly raging inside of him, part of him loathes being evil but part of him enjoys it but Serin is well and truly immersed in the dark and can be nothing but evil no matter how hard he tries.
Perhaps Spade was also born on the last stroke of midnight exactly between night and day but somehow Mortismere has done something to him that means he can no longer truly be either good or evil. Spade hates himself for hurting Charon when she's a child, he even cries as he's torturing her but can do nothing to stop himself. Charon is often willing to sacrifice herself to help other family members, going as far as marrying Mortismere to protect Moebius. Spade has a history of doing the opposite so what would happen between Serin and Kali?
This brings us to full circle. Spade had to be the murderer. I heard whispers about it but people believe Spade was possessed by a dark force that lived dormant inside of him. The strange ritual table that was found at the monastary and the dna found on Julie's seperated heart- kept Spade from becoming a suspect.
I believe that the older Elders kept the truth a secret. Spade was convinced that the murderer "was out there." He never was told the real truth. Instead, Spade accussed his family for doing nothing to save his wife because she was a human being. Spade claimed he just barely found out about his creature powers- I beg to think differently.
Vaolrixous and Death Family Relationship
Charon and Darkspade have ancient blood running through their veins (which is why/how Lilith was birthed).
Sincentius possessed Spade Deathen through the Death Family DNA and emerged because Sin felt that Spade and Serin were the twins destined to control the balance. But later- Sincentius realized that it was Spade's offsprings that had the ability to control the balance.
Mortis and Sincentius worked together to distort the prophesy by introducing Julie into the equation. They believed by combining the DNA of the Death Family with that of a Vaolrixous member- they could control the Vaolrixous- make the offspring susceptible to the "Will of the Unholy Darkness"
Vaorlrixous and the Death Family were opposing tribes. And there was an unsanctioned marriage of both families that was forbidden. From that moment onward certain Death Family members was a mixture of the two tribes. Deaths Wind most certainly must have known about this family secret- and the DNA that Mortis was researching was found by DW and she realized that Mortis was not what he made himself to be.
The Death Family and the Vaolrixous are biologically opposites. When mixing the DNA together you create people that can control the balance or destroy it. But since time has watered down the Death Family- Sincentius realizes that the DNA of a pure source of Vaolrixous mixed with a pure source of Death Family would create a virus that could kill every single creature of the night on the planet.
