GTWF
Around 2001, a large group of e-fed players hailing from Gametalk.com came over to the CWF E-Fed in search of competition. At that time CWF was slowing down and the game needed new roster members to continue the e-fed's survival. Kefka's Baby (later to be called Kefka or Unholy Kefka) was one of the main players that came to CWF to play.
The massive bombardment of GTWF (Gametalk Wrestling Federation) players caused the CWF RPG board to be flooded with posts- often times- one-sentence per posts. There were mixed responses to this issue:
1. With so many GTWF players coming over to CWF- how can we maintain our unique identity.
2. With an overflow of players- what could be done to facilitate them all and not to turn them away.
Well the idea the promoter had in mind was to take what WWE done with brands but go a step further and to include an additional e-fed called: Extreme Creature Wrestling ECF . Two rpg boards were made: one for CWF and one for ECF and that would facilitate the roster. However, the idea wasn't accepted the way it was hopped because regular CWF players got used to the game setup.
A few titles were also create just for ECF in hopes that these titles could interest players. Unfortunately, rarely did anybody use the ECF board and the titles had to be merged into one title to represent the ECF.
In addition, the changes done to the game created the CWE which would act as the umbrella organization that housed CWF and ECF.
As time passed on, only a few GTWF players out of the many joined the e-fed remained.
GTWF was largely supported the most by the CWE Promoter: Darkspade because he did not want to turn away players no matter what level or style that they produced. Many CWF players did NOT want GTWF players to invade the game. Instead of turning away the new players- Spade facilitated them by expanding the game.
However, despite the efforts made including Spade's Interfed Tournament - GTWF players left the CWE to go off and play elsewhere.
