I have shared these thoughts earlier —especially as I branch out and look at what other e-feds have and are doing, more specifically as an actual wrestler on at least one e-Fed.... There is definitely a misconception about what the "Creature" in "CreatureWrestling" actually means.
On the surface, without any context, except for the name, many eFedders perceive this eFed as some sorta fairy tale land with typical monsters like vampires and werewolves-- and there are no humans, or if there are some, they are the underdog. Before closing the eFed for a while, especially when we had a lot of posters from a defunct game site called Gametalk, we had an eFed like any other eFed —there were actually more "human" wrestlers than "creature wrestlers." The matches and the lines blurred between what is considered a creature of the night and a human wrestler, which was an everyday occurrence. If you look back at our old matches on our old boards, you can clearly see that. Unfortunately, the closure caused problems: you have to play the eFed to understand that we aren't just about supernatural stuff, but rather a universe expanded to encompass a wide variety of wrestlers. The obvious solution, I think, is to educate the public about what we actually do here. However, my eFed cannot get out of this rut because there is no real roster aside from my spouse and me, who is even more swamped with work than I am and cannot post as much. Therefore, the dominant content here is the main storyline, which aligns with the 'supernatural' aspect of this coin concept: supernatural AND mortal characters working or fighting against each other, or even none at all, and they do what they want in their part of the world.
Also, there is this weird comment I got on Reddit where someone said they don't like to be "blocked into" a narrow concept.
The odd thing about that comment is that CreatureWrestling is one of the most fluid/"un"-narrow e-Fed out there because we accept practically anything! Even spoof/parody characters based upon real wrestlers or real people. Probably the only thing limiting this eFed is that I do not use actual pro wrestlers in real life as main or serious characters, such as "Brock Lesnar" -- but the exceptions are The Undertaker and Uncle Howdy, who are NPCs in the main story.
Going back to my point, what is sad is that it has been so long since CWE was graced with a good-sized roster that we cannot show we are a full wrestling eFed with BOTH humans and non-humans, and anything in between. Then I get another weird comment when I inquired with another e-Fed that they do not accept matches that are supernatural —implying that ALL of our matches here are "supernatural"- based (there ARE some, but that does not define us —and still yet, why is that even a bad thing?).
I don't get it, to be honest. It is like, out there in the eFed world—everything is 99% based on human beings—has there not been one person, aside from myself, who has felt a little limited and bound by the rules set forth by the status quo?
My thoughts about the misconception of "Creature" with "CreatureWrestling"
