Other Website Plans this June- i.e., a page listing events

[Admin]

Every year, aside from investing time into the main storyline and whatnot, I try to improve the website. I already planned to adjust the bio editor and roster pages, but I am also going to develop a page system that will bring the events together into one place to read. Now what is in my head about that is... hmm... isn't that what the status quo does? Yes, it does. I did not say that everything about the status quo is bad; there are some great ideas there adopted- it's the status quo for a reason. But I am really doing this because one of the issues my e-Fed faces is that nobody truly knows what we have done in terms of the match department- it is relatively hidden within the message boards.

Also, when I reopened this e-Fed in 2023.... I was working on rebuilding at least the past CreatureMania PPVs from the shit-tastic Network54 (what on Earth is Network54? It was our main message board since 1999 which was a bulleted-list format- something you NEVER EVER see nowadays and that format was so much more aligned to working with events and made us stand out, you can see the last remnant of that board with this copy here: https://cwe.creaturewrestling.com/), which was defuncting itself, and loading all of that content onto TapaTalk. The modulate format destroyed the format for our matches... the only way it can ever be displayed properly is if I meticulously copy and paste content into this format. That takes a lot of time to do.... I was in the middle of that with the first CreatureMania. Since I am done with the Administrative teaching credential this Spring- one last class- I will have more free time this summer to actually bring together the past CreatureMania PPVs. This would be a great opportunity to connect that with the archiving idea, with pages directly feeding these matches on the website and re-show the world the huge amount of content we once had readily available.

Again, for now, the only way to see any of that stuff is to go to the TapaTalk website link here: https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/creatur ... rd-f50904/

A dream would be to rebuild the PPV board at least- but holy shit- there is 13.8k worth of posts on just that ONE board and we have about five other boards on that place.... Sad that the e-Fed community has no idea, really, how much we have actually done with events. I truly wish that at least TapaTalk would allow someone to download their board data and have it reuploaded, because all TapaTalk is this board we are using, which is a PHPBB3 board.... I am scared of the "what-if," and all that data would be dumped if that place went defunct. So yeah, that is a project that I want to tackle-

I will periodically add more updates here as my mind slowly shifts to summer. As a teacher, I am truly looking forward to having some extra time
