Jezi
Jezi's mind raced. She had no weapons. The only things she brought to this match were her wits, skills, and her magic.
Extending her senses, she tried to feel for any demonic presence in the wolves, and was disappointed to feel none. These were only normal wolves, so her most powerful magics wouldn't work.
Fangs bared, one of them came a little closer. She hoped the calming influence she always had with animals was working, but when she held out her hand, it snapped at her.
She got a little more confident, this should be the alpha of the pack. If she could take him out, the others might take off. They were all beautiful animals, but she had no idea how long she was in that other life, so she had no idea what time it was now.
He lunged at her, and she just barely rolled away. He was going for her throat, and her instinctive arm block kept her throat safe, but his teeth were drawing blood.
The scent caused the others to lift their heads in a bone chilling howl. As she felt the teeth scrape against her bones, she knew there was only one way to stop this one. Inwardly apologizing, she called upon her magic, and screamed in pain as the fangs in her arm turned to salt with the rest of the pack leader. The breeze started to raise, and the alpha male of the pack, was scattered to the wind.
Jezi almost didn't notice the beta member of the pack sneaking up on her. Her hand shot out at his furry throat, and she closed her fingers around it. Her other arm reached around and grabbed for the back of his head, ready to snap the animal's neck.
Before she could, her mind cried out, and she saw what she was about to do. Killing out of necessity was one thing, but what she was about to do was mindless. If she did that, no matter what happened for the rest of the match, the Angel of Terror would have won.
There was red flowing over her fingers, as she realized that she had dug her nails in and was literally squeezing the breath from him, his tail was tucked between his legs, and he was trying to turn his belly up to her. She gently pulled her fingers out, and summoned her healing powers to revive the wolf. He wouldn't be much of a threat for some time.
She then turned to look at the other wolves.

The wolves back up
Angel of Terror
The continued to face at her snarling, but giving her room to move. Thats when the wind carried anouther sound. It sounded like a wounded hollar. And it sounded familiar.
The wolves backed off completely and disappeared in the shadows, when the sound was heard again. This time it was more reconizable. It sounded like Jason LaClaire. But it sounded like a cry of pain, as if someone was getting a beat down. Jezi looked around. On a hill top a little ways a way, a light flickered in a little two story house.
A shiver went down her spine as she heard the cry once again.

Debating for a moment...
Jezi
Jezi looked to the house, she heard the cry again, and started towards the sound. Jason? she thought.
This was most likely a trap, but she couldn't take that chance. She had to check it out.
