Angel of Terror
Jezi goes towards the house. The entire way she could hear the shout of his screams. The screams sounded so intence, it made he skin crawl with each hollar.
As she approached the house, she say that the only lights on was a few candle lit rooms on the first floow. All the windows was shirt and the curtians and blinds were drawn. She staked out the house thourally looking for possible ways in. The screams had stopped a little while ago, leaving earie silence in its stead.
The silence was brooken by a gravely vioce behind her. "Careful there miss. Troulbe in there, you see."
She turned around to see a blind, black man behind her. She looked at his worn out overalls. He has a worn cap to his side, the wear and tear had freyed the poor cap over the years. White tufts of hair poked from the sides of the cap.
"He's been beaten for a while, your friend has. But leave he will not. They say he sacrificed himself cause he thought you'd be released if he took your place. He was told if he left, you would be killed immedately. That house has tricks though. Maze it is, keeps him confused and people unable to get in or out. Only person with the ability to release him is the lord of the house. Nasty man that is. Careful with that one."
The black man took a hoe that was on the ground and started to weed out the ground, whistling a mournful tone.

Turning to the house.
Jezi
Jezi looked at it for a moment, then walked up to the building. Somehow, she felt the doors would open for her. Terror was the type of person who would want her to see what happened to Jason. She wandered around outside, trying to find a way inside to help Jason.

Re: Angel of Terror vs Jezi: Graveyard Match
Angel of Terror
She waited for them to open. And just to add to the mood, the waters of heaven opened up, and a torrential rain began to pour down heavily. Lighting struck across the sky, lighting up the grey clouds. Out of the corner of her eye, Jezi saw the blind man running for cover further in the graveyard. Within seconds, Jezi was drenched to the core, with a slight chill going to her bones.
Jezi reached out to knock and the door opened. The was a creak as the massive doors opened, on the badly oiled hinges. A smell of decay meet Jezi, and she wrinkled her nose at the smell. A gust of warm air came out from the house, but the mood from in the house, inspite of it remained cold.
A gaunt looking man that opened a door, squared his shoulders without even a glance at her. "The master will see you now," the creature told her in a monotone, tight lipped responce. For an instant, their gazes meet, then slid away, but not before Jezi caught a yellow beam of hatered for her. He picked up a candle and began to decend across the hard granite floor.
Inside the candle light didn't seem to chase away the shadows. The hall seemed impossibly long for the size of the house she say in the outside, and with the dim light leading her, it was hard to tell the twists and turns the hall seemed to make. Tapastries hung against the wall periodicaly. Wooden shelves cased many peices of china and silver and other collectables. Thoughts fluttered through her mind. The lingering one seems the be the warning the blind man gave.
Abrupty, the servent stopped before an ornately carved door. He threw it open, stepped inside, and announced, "Sit the lady you wished to see is here."
Jezi stepped forward and gave a quick glance at her surroundings. Books lines the shelves, while a fire crackled in a fireplace on the side. The rooms had a thick elegent carpet laid out of the floor. Jezis' gaze drew to a man slowly rising from behind a desk in he far end of the room. The servent began to light a few more candles to light the room in a usable illumination rather then the darkness it was cast in.
"Jezi, I presume?" interjected the man from behind the desk before she could say anything. His words-pleasently spoken, with a casual intimate intonation, took Jezi aback. She paused a second, disarmed by his easy, familiar manner.
The pause was only secondary, as she recomposed herself, and bowed her head slightly. "And you would be?"
"Bluebeard" His left eye brow arched in amusement, and his red, full lips twitch. His beard was indeed a dark hue of black, with highlights that waxed blue in the candlelight. He was only several inches taller then her, but his wide berth was intimidating. He stood before her like whale blubber. His eyes, however, were alight with a cunning Jezi knew to belong to a most dangrous man. A fat pampered hand, with three rings on it, pointed out a chair for her to sit on. She declined. The huge man went to his desk and fell backward on a huge wing chair behind him, hist great girth encompassed by the even bigger seat.
"You know.....you remind me a lot of your friend Jason." That was enough for Jezi's full attention to be focused on the big man.
"Where is he?" Jezi asked cautiously.
"Please, take a seat. Your dripping all over my carpets." Jezi reluctently took a seat. The seat wasn't as fancy as the other mans, but its was cushined. She left out a tiny sigh as she sat back.
From behind the beefy man, a small monitor revealed itself. On it showed a dimmly lite room. Jason LaClaire was curled up in a tiny ball. Jezi couldn't misidentify him at all. Though the room was'nt very well lit, she could see him shivering and tiny moans came from him.
"Where is he? Let me speak with him. What have you done" Jezi told the big man.
"Why speak so sharply to me, young lady? You friend there is just a guest and his here by his own free will and may leave when his wishes. But he has expressed he wants to stay here. And so it shall be."
"Then you would have no objection with me speaking with him then, right?"
"Tell me then, what would you tell him?"
"I would inform him that I am alright, and thathe is free to come back with me" Blackbeard slammed a beefy hand on the desk, and throw back his head and roared with laughter. Jezi could feel her face flush, as the man laughed outloud.
When his laughter subsided, the huge man stood and walked arund the desk and sat in the chiar next to Jezi. He leaned fowrard, his elbows resting upon his kness, his girth spilling out of the confines of the chiar. His gaz was steady and amused, but was laced with a touch of malice that match the darkness of his beard. "I can not allow that. You would take my prize and you would surly go off and spread slanders about me."
Sometihng in the air, or something about him, caused Jezi to suddenly loose her composure. She jumpe dup and reach down, grabbing the man by his labels on his shirt. His eyes widened by the suddeness andeffeot Jezi lept too. With a violent effort Jezi hauled him to his feet. She tighted the grip around his shirt, grabbing some of his rolled flesh at the same time. Bluebeard winced, then shook his head at the advancing servent. The serent stepepd back and carefull watched Jezi. Bluebeards expression however, didn't show a hint of concern, his brow unfurrowed and his eyes clear. A hint of a smile played over his face.
She let him go with a tiny shove. Bluebeard responded "I know your tired and I can easily excuse that. How ever regardless of your obvious protectiveness, perhaps your friend truly wants to stay here. Are you prepared for that fact?"
"Then bring him out and let him decide."
Bluebraed lifted a hand, the firelight shining off his rings. "not so fast. I can tell the way you have reacted you think I have harmed him. Weather Jason leaves with you or no, you will probably be spreading falsities about me. And I can't have that.
Jezi bit her lip and made a face. Fine, let me take wit hJason and if he goes with me fine, but if he doesn't then I leave against my better judgment. Eather way I will give my word I will not say anythig about you to anyone."
"Oh, I believe that you would say that you would never tell anyone, but what do I have in the form of senserity? Why should I beleive you?" His words seems to grate against Jezis unusually jangled nerves.
"I give me word and my word is my bond." Jezi said firmly. The man laughed outright. Jezi leaped up "Call Jason in here and lets settle this! I give you my oth that I'll never mentian-"
"How?" That single word boomed and echoed through out the room. "How can you give me that oath?" This time Bluebeard grabbed Jezi, one massive hand wrapping around her throat. His grip tightened as his he pulled upward on her neck, as if he was trying to pull Jezi's head from her body. She realized how she had underestimated the mans strength. "how can you give me that oath? How can I trust that you would not speak to someone......someday?"
Jezi gasped something, but the air escaped her. "Your word is not enough." Jezi could feel a tingling in her face and spots surrounding her vison. "I want your tongue. That is what you will offer. Give me your tongue and I will allow you to see Jason, and ask if he wishes to leave. Your tongue or you will never see him ever again, except the tape I will send of you of his tourchuous death." In the corner of her eye, she saw several more servents come in, all armed, and carried a sence of familiar ground of gaurding their master. "I await your answer."
