Raven vs Gaunt: Hardcore Match

" Gaunt certainly has an edge to him tonight. I don't know that I've seen him so set, so determined. Raven is a great champion, but he had better watch himself. Gaunt looks hungry, and blackbird pie might be what it takes to satisfy that hunger. Oh, by the way Prez, how much of a bonus is there for doing color commentary tonight?"

As Gaunt continues to make his way to the ring Raven runs and jumps onto the top rope and uses it to spring off and Dropkick Gaunt... Raven then starts to punch Gaunt in the face on the floor...

Commish: Raven is fired up as usual but he don't want to waste so much energy in this match with his title on the line later.

Raven then picks up Gaunt and rolls him into the ring and gaunt is quick to his feet,.. the two lock up and Gaunt forces Raven against the ropes but Raven counters with a knee in the gut... Raven the runs of the ropes and tries to cloatline guant but Gaunt dicks and trips Raven causing him to slam on to the mat and get up flaming mad!

*When Raven turns around to confront Gaunt, he is met by a trash can lid over his head. Stunned and spinned about by the blow, he leans on the turnbuckle to hold himself up. Gaunt lifts Raven up to the top rope and slips outside, reaching up and grasping Raven's throat*


Blade: Oh, no! It looks like he's going for a chokeslam onto the floor!

Pres: This looks like this is going to hurt! I love it!

*Gaunt tries to do just that, lifting Raven off of the turnbuckle. But Raven manages to get his legs around Gaunt's head, turning it into an improvised sloppy Hurricanarana, but it was effective. Both land hard on the arena floor and struggle to get up through the pain shooting through both bodies*
