Special: DNA VS Ric Slade

Ric Slade (Corporate DX)

The two men stare each other down in the middle of the ring. The bell sounds to signify the start of the Mexican deathmatch. Ric makes the first move by shoving DNA, DNA replies with a right hand knocking Ric off his feet. He jumps back up and they start brawling. DNA gets the better of the exchange and knocks Slade back into the corner. He then hits him with a series of stiff punches, knocking him further down into the corner. He then starts to choke Ric with his boot! The referee pulls DNA off of him. The crowd start up a ‘D-N-A’ chant, DNA responds by taunting the crowd. This allows Ric a couple of seconds to recover. As DNA moves back over toward him Ric nails him with a vicious low-blow and follows it up with a spike piledriver!

JR: ‘Just like DNA did to him a week ago!’

The cover is made and the referee starts his count.

DNA kicks out!

King: ‘A second away from our first fall there!’

Ric gets him in a sleeper, however it isn’t very effective! DNA works his way up and out of it quickly, with a couple of elbows to the ribs. He then bounces against the ropes to gain some momentum. DNA charges at Ric, however Ric uses his momentum against him by backdropping him over the top rope! DNA lands roughly on the outside. Wasting no time, Ric takes a run-up and baseball slides under the bottom rope, catching DNA in the face as he makes his way back up! DNA crashes backwards into the guardrail! Ric slides out and pulls a chair out from under the ring. As he raises the chair to strike a dazed DNA, DNA kicks him in the gut. Ric drops the chair and DNA follows up with a belly to belly suplex onto the steel ramp! Both men are down!

DNA

*DNA is first to his feet and he immediately puts Ric into a triangle hold, a move he hasn't used in months. Ric starts to wear down but DNA can't hold it in for long. When he lets go DNA begins to stand up as Ric rolls away to put some distance between them. As DNA walks after him Ric sits up but as DNA gets close and bands down Ric drops his head backwards and brings the steel chair he tried to use earlier into full contact with DNA's head! DNA drops to the floor and lays there. Ric lays on him for the cover.

JR:HE KICKED OUT! HE KICKED OUT!

*DNA starts battling back with some stiff right hands before sending Ric rolling into the ring. DNA enters and the fight resumes. Ric is whipped against the ropes and samoan dropped as he returns. DNA lifts him up and clotheslines him down, then another one as he stands, then another one. DNA goes to whip him but it is reversed. As he comes back he hits Ric with one hell of a bicycle kick taking the fight out of Ric. He then lays down for the cover

Ric promptly kicks out. Both men scramble up to their feet. Ric delivers a running powerslam, knocking the wind out of DNA! He then climbs the top rope and dives off with a moonsault. DNA, however, grabs the steel chair lying next to him and holds it in place so that Ric lands on it! DNA then quickly gets Ric in an Oklahoma roll-up.

He gets the pinfall and the referee starts the ten count.

DNA climbs to the outside to grab some weapons, just in case Ric makes it back up to his feet.

He pulls out from under the ring a trashcan and a table.

Suddenly Ric jumps back up to his feet and suicide dives through the ropes, taking out an unsuspecting DNA! Ric then hits DNA hard with a trashcan, knocking him over the guardrail and into the crowd. The fans go wild! Ric pulls the guardrail out quite a bit then climbs up onto it and waits for DNA to stagger up. As he does Ric dives off, catching him with a dragonrana!!

JR: 'What an awesome move! Can DNA make it back to his feet before the ten count?!'

Ric, now bleeding heavily, climbs back out of the crowd and into the ring to recover.

The referee starts the count.
