Ric Slade (Corporate DX)

As the smoke clears the bell sounds to signify the start of the match. As Vertabreaker steps towards him Ric quickly bails to the outside of the ring. Verta leans over the top rope yelling at Ric.

‘Get your ass back in the ring!’

Lord of Hardcore suddenly slides into the ring behind Verta and picks up the sledgehammer. He nails him with a vicious shot to the kidneys!

JR: ‘Oh My God! I think the Corporate DX should be banned from ringside!’

The champ hits the floor in agony. Ric slides back in and starts laying a beating on Verta. He then drags him up and executes an evenflow DDT. Ric makes the cover.

The champ kicks out! Ric can’t believe it! He signals to his running buddies at ringside. Spiral responds by tossing him the chair he was sitting on. With a grin Ric waits for Verta to find his feet again. As he makes his way up Ric nails him with a brutal chairshot to the skull, busting Verta open!

The confident challenger then sets up the chair in the centre of the ring and sits down waiting. As a groggy Vertabreaker starts to come back to his senses, after nearly being knocked out with that chairshot, Ric stands back up to continue the assault. Verta tries to charge him however Ric trips the champ with a drop toe hold, sending him face first into the set-up steel chair!

With a grin on his face, and sensing victory, Ric struts around the ring taunting the crowd. He then calls for Spiral, Lord of Hardcore, Revelation and Halo to retrieve him some more weapons. They scavenge under the ring and come out with a table, several chairs, a cane and two trashcans.

Ric turns back to continue the assault on Vertabreaker. However to his surprise, Verta was back up! He hit Ric with a stiff kick to the gut then followed it up with a jacknife powerbomb through the set-up steel chair!!

JR: ‘Oh My God!’

King: ‘Ric’s dead!’

Verta quickly makes the cover.

Halo breaks up the count by pulling Verta out of the ring!

Vertabreaker

Halo gets a haymaker punch right to the jaw for his troubles. Verta ducks under the ring and produces a fire extinguisher. As the rest of DX surround him, he opens fire and blinds the lot of them. He rolls into the ring and clocks Ric right upside the noggin with the metal can.

JR: Look at that, the champ is fighting back. When this guy's back is against the wall, that is when he's at his most dangerous!

Verta drags Slade out of the ring and takes the fight backstage, behind the ramp. Verta lays into Slade's face with punches sending them both all the way toward the parking lot area.

JR: Now where are they going?!

Verta grabs Slade by the hair and tosses him through some metal pipes. He turns around and notices a forklift sitting there. An evil grin spread across his face.

JR: Uh oh...

He leapt into the forklift and picked up a metal crate, it came dangerously close to Ric's prone body.

Verta: Thats what ya get for challenging me, you stupid son of a bitch!

The crowd goes insane.

JR: Whats with these people. Everytime somebody curses they cheer...........NO! DONT DO IT!!! AHHHHHHH FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO!!!!!!!!!

With a thunderous crash, Verta brought the crate down onto Slade.

JR: NO WAY!!!! GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY!!!

Guess who

*Ric lays stranded underneath the crate as Vertabreaker smiles maniacally and climbs out of the forklift. As he bends down over Ric and starts to taunt him a figure enters the parking lot and moves over to Verta. Verta senses him and turns around stepping straight into The Hangman!

JR:Oh My God! This man hasn't been since since his threats to bring Lilith back. What's he gonna do now?

*Suddenly he lays Verta out with a thunderous right hand! Walking over to Ric he lifts up the crate with relative ease and tosses it aside.

JR:That man has got to be strong. Vertabreaker had to use a forklift to lift that.

*Hangman walks over to Vertabreaker as he begins to get up. Lifting him to his shoulders he allows Verta's body to drop and falls to his knees delivering the Hangman's DDT (Tombstone Piledriver except they face away from you rather than towards) straight onto the concrete.

JR:My God! Vertabreaker looks down and I think he could be out of it now.

*Hangman moves over to Ric who has stood up and wraps his hand around his throat. Ric looks surprised but then Hangman lets go and pats him on the back. He liftfs his shirt to reveal a Corporate D-X T-Shirt.

JR:That's why he did this! Hangman is now part of the Corporate D-X! Verta's in trouble now.

*Hangman walks out of the parking lot as Vertabreaker finally stumbles to his feet and seems ready to face Ric again.

JR:I don't think anything's gonna keep this man down.
