Walking backstage after his gruelling second round match against Johnny Perfect, Cerberus is deep in thought while he half polishes his title with one hand. He is contemplating his tactics for the Battle Royale, and while he knows it will be difficult enough for people to throw him over the top rope, he needs some kind of insurance policy. As he looks up, he sees someone's locker room and his face slowly breaks into a smile.
Cerberus: Why not? I'm sure we can come to an understanding.
He walks forward and knocks on the door, prompting a "Come in!" from inside. Stepping in, Cerberus begins to outline his proposition.
Cerberus: We're both in the Battle Royale, and I want someone who is going to watch my back in this to the very end. I know there aren't any bad feelings between us, so what do you say to a bit of teaming up to get the rest of the competitors out of the way, then we can fight at the end?
