Ultimate X Challenge: James Dean VS Gideon VS Rick Astin VS Awesome Alex Pane

James pulls himself up from the canvas, dazed from the chair to the back of the head, and begins to servay teh carnage surounding him. AAP and Rick Astin lay broken in the debris on teh outside, Gideon climbs up to his feet after the bulldog he recieved at the hands of The Prince of Pro Wrestling. Grabbing James Dean, he tuns him around whipping him into the ropes looking to grab Dean for a Belly to Belly Suplex, but Dean slides under Gideon's legs and grabs the chair, tossing it to Gideon who, out of supprise, catches it only to have The Future superkick it into his face.

JR, "My God! Did you see that Michael Cole?! That kick to the chair, what a shot!"

Cole, "I did indeed JR, and look at Gideon's face, he's busted wide open!"

AAP, begins to stir, dragging himself over to the support of the wires beginning to scale the support, pulling himself from teh outside up to the wires as James pulls himself up diagonally opposite to him.

JR, "It's a race for the X King! Alex Pane and James Dean are gonna race for the XZ hanging from the centre of the wires here King and this could get interesting."

King, "Ye James is the fresher man, but you can never doubt the heart of The Lonestar!"

The two men's eyes lock, fierce looks of determination burning in their eyes as they begin to slide along teh wires as Gideon lays in the centre of the ring, his eyes glazed over and the blood seeping out of teh gash on his forehead and Rick is almost out cold after his high risk blunder.

James and Alex pull themselves along, both eger not only to win but to prove that the new X Division is THE place for high risk offence. James looks down at Gideon and AAP looks over at Rick as the same idea appears in both men's minds and teh two high flying wonders begin to haul themselves up onto the wires.

Cole, "Not again! They're gonna fly from the wires almost 20 foot in the air!"

James looks over at Alex as he steadys himself and changes his mind in an instant, hopping up onto one foot and planting Alex in the jaw with Pane Relief, sending both men plumiting from the wires!!!!!!!

JR, "GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY! GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY! James Dean just superkicked Awesome Alex Pane off teh top of those wires! And look at him, he's held on!"

James has indeed held on, clutching from one hand from the wires after the huge move that has sent AAP crashing to the canvas as teh fans chant "Holy Shit!"

Gideon's wound begins to heal as he regenerates. Gideon then comes to. He sees James Dean all the way up. Gideon slowly gets to his feet. Gideon knows there is only one way to make it up there to catch up to james Dean. He had to super jump. Gideon only did this to jump from building to building when they were far from each other. Gideon jumped up just close enough to James Dean to grab his leg.

JR: Did you see that jump?

King: Yea it was simply amazing.

Gideon then started pulling James Dean. James Dean held on to the cable. Gideon used his strength to pull himself up. James Dean and Gideon began to exchange blows. Gideon soon gets the upper hand and overpowers James Dean. Gideon then pulls himself up on the top cable and steps on Dean's hands. Holding on to the cable Gideon kicks Dean in the face forcing him to let go and causing him to plummet down to the mat. Gideon then loses his balance and falls off as well

after a few moments of no movement from any of the competitors.......the crowd equally still...with bated breath.....



one person finally begins to stir....



AAP manages to rise to his feet and slip back into the ring....he crawls on all fours to the corner...where he slowly starts to climb....he takes a moment to steady himself on the top rope before reaching for the cables...


he starts heading to the center.....when an arm drapes across the ring apron.....slowly...but surely....Astin starts pulling himself up as AAP inches ever closer to the center...

Despite his efforts...Astin collapses back to the floor.....as AAP makes it to the center of the X....



Jr:It looks like AAP is going to make it!!


Cole:With everyone else down and Astin in the state he is...still outside the ring...I think your right...its all over!



AAP starts reaching for the prize......as Gideon and James start coming to...unaware of how close the end is.....



Cole:Just one good tug its its done!!



Tazz:If anyone knows about tuggin...its you Cole...


King:HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!


Frank:"..."


Jim:Aye think I puked....



Its then that Astin...realizing theres no way he can get to AAP in time....makes one last ditch effort to save the match...


grabbing the chair he had previously discarded......he gives it all his has left....to hurl the chair through the air...right at AAP!!....before falling back down to the floor...


the chair manages to hit Alex in the gut.....not hard mind you....but enough to cause him to flinch and let go of the cable....crashing to the mat below....
