Awh shucks—- summer coming to an end for me! Recap of things done and not gotten to do.

Well, summer (break) is almost at an end. For teachers, when we pass July 4th, it goes downhill lol, since we have to mentally and physically prepare for the coming school year.

Meaning my time is spent on cleaning, relaxing… and painting. Plus I got a gallbladder removal in a few days :/ And that will cement me in bed…. drat there goes the later.

I know excuses…. However, the work done for the eFed this summer has been phenomenal, even if I didn't get to any web work. Because this is a solo eFed, I'm not under pressure to impress. I did want to fix the old PHP board since I have to use a different server with an older PHP version—who knows how long that can continue… but it is costing me more money to present it. It’s still not compatible with how it used to look because the PHP version it uses is still too modern.

I need to update this board to the latest version because the owners have said you have to update it to make it compatible. I am just waiting on the return of my actual PC (it’s in the shop).

With all of that said— the things that I did which stood out were posting the ending of CH15, CM17, and the shift to using WWE 2k2*

If anyone is reading this (lmao) and is an old timer (even more of a lmao), if I could imagine what they would say: “Well, I prefer the writing…” To that I would say, “SURE! I totally agree with that… however, since times are different and the world doesn’t seem to think a genre like this is unique and cool and all that— I have to think and do things differently- plus, I basically did a really fucking smart move to leverage AI and supplement the absence of a roster. So although “…yep sure with ya on that,” the fact of the matter is: nope, since I am doing this solo, I just can’t commit to match writing for every since element on a card.

Now looking ahead. I mentioned this in another post, but I hope you resolve some web issues soon. We will see, and the bio portion of the website. It might be in December when I start Chapter 16. In between now and then, I will write and produce stories with the work at another eFed and perhaps even post some events using WWE 2k2*

So yeah, that’s where I stand. I have a couple more weeks of freedom left, so I will see what I can do, especially as I am recovering from surgery.

PS: not saying I will die lol, but if anything does happen to me, there are people with access to this eFed’s account, etc. But if this is the last hurrah, let me go on record to state that CreatureWrestling was an awesome project. It had its pros and cons- wish things were different in some cases- but ultimately I know I had the right heart at what I stood for. I was an immature 20-year-old- wish I had the sense I have now back then- but again, I wouldn’t have changed much. I hope this eFed inspires others in this subculture of eFedding to look beyond genetic formulas, try different approaches, and learn from what CWE did.
