Reflections on the last day of summer break and the future

Well the end of my summer freedoms is over after today.

It feels that each year, especially after our reopening in 2023, has been a surprising success despite that well, crap, beating the odds and showing that you can actually run an eFed with just soloing it most of the time! That was unintentional. I did get some “interest” from the likes of UndeadEnigma but they dropped off the face of the Earth and I haven’t heard from them since.

I hope that whatever they were looking for came to light- but I am pretty sure that if they expected a revival of the olden days with how the current state of reality is now with the status-quo… that they likely are unsatisfied.

But here it is- going on now 4 years. I literally proven that you can do this for an extended period of time- likely forever-without a roster.

The next thing to reflect- why oh why did I revamp the bios and everything else in this crazy asf system that is out of this world…. Especially with no roster?!

I did it because it was fun! It’s fun making it- and I always wanted an automated system to help with the heavy lifting of determining titles and wins… and make it fair and equitable for everyone. I just wish that I had this system when I started this and perhaps all of the issues, many eFeds face, would not have happened… but there ya go. That’s why.

So what to expect.

I might advertise this on Reddit and maybe start posting looking for players but at this point I kinda don’t want to have to deal with players lmao. I am serious when I say I am swamped to manage this place like a job- but I am open to seeking a small staff… especially since the system is more automated and the rules are pretty dam solid.

So we will see!
