Since our central theme is this marriage of supernatural and mortal wrestlers alike, there are endless potential and opportunities to design a wrestling character with unique qualities and backgrounds.
To play the game requires cooperating with the entire roster and staff. You develop a wrestler on your own with a background and play them out on the Role Playing board whenever you want- this is how you get noticed. You can even call someone out at any time on the Role Playing board (usually one of your first steps to making a match happen)... the more you interact and develop stories and win battles, the more you rank up to become involved in title matches and more!!
The basic suggested formula to advance in the game is:
1. Register/design a bio/make a character.
2. Begin writing on the RPG board- try and start with an in-ring introduction and explain what you are aiming for/your goal.
3. Get noticed by getting involved and taking risks (but always try to remain respectful of others and try and contact them first to suggest angles/gimmicks etc.). Sometimes we have "open" posts (usually, it says "open" in the subject header), which allow anyone to interact with no risks of ruining other players' storylines, etc.
4. Design an angle with others and run that angle/storyline....
5. Challenge for a match and contact a staff member to set it up.
6. Decide with your partner how you would like the match to take place and decide on a winner; if you cannot determine a winner, request a staff member to choose for you.
7. Play the match to completion. A game can be as long as you want, but please be mindful that two weeks might risk other players' ability to continue with their game plans as they may be waiting for your outcome to happen.
8. Rinse and Repeat.
** The Staff reserves the right to intervene in any match outcome if necessary such as if the match does not close in a reasonable amount of time, no-showing matches etc.
Role-Playing:
Means you write stories for the characters you sign up for. The game has a central theme which is a wrestling organization called: Creature Wrestling Entertainment (CWE) and your characters have something to do with the CWE in some way... either as a wrestler, fan or a bystander. Role-Plays can be anything that you want... examples are: scenes (like a backstage scene or a scene at your residence) and recorded demos. Players can also decide to write scenes in the wrestling ring during a "dark event / road-tour" which is not televised.
Match Writing:
Matches occur when players play as wrestlers that want to compete for a title, accomplishment or to settle a feud through a turn-by-turn basis.
Match Call:
Match Calls are our cards. We post a "Match Call" on the private discussions forum where you pitch or signup for an event. You cannot create ERPs without doing this first.
STF (Suggested Title Frame):
Titles are still determined by scoring or by voting- but each title holder has a time limit to hold their belt. Each title is given a safety net of a certain # of months before they need to rotate. STFs are "suggested" only because not all of the time there will be a #1 contender. If there is no #1 contender at the time the STF expires-- you get an automatic extension but your title must be rotated at the instant there is a #1 contender.

Details into Playing:
A feud is sparked by an engagement with another player. By default, all posts are considered OPEN meaning that, you are free to "butt into" someone's thread and post. A good way to get a feud going is to call out someone or issue an open challenge. TIP: Write as if you are watching wrestling on TV... Once a storyline/feud is fleshed out- you then pitch/signup for your match when we have a Match Call (card).
-----------------------------------
TV & PPV EVENTS:
In order to qualify for a match for a TV event, you need to engage with your opponents on the normal RP board- either as a call out or a challenge. Then you and your opponent(s) need to sign up for a match on the match call board. You have three ways to determine the winner... the default way is to decide with your opponent. If you can't then you can either have the staff decide (either through judging your RPs or allow chance to decide through the "wheelofnames" site, or through public voting).
-----------------------------------
Pure Roleplaying Characters (non-wrestler):
Are exempted from match duties and can create role-play posts anytime they want and in any quantity. If you just role-play, your stories do not have to be related directly to CWE but you cannot create story or character conflicts and dismiss the existence of the CWE.
CWE Wrestler:
Creature Wrestlers can either be supernatural or mortal type wrestlers. This is the standard/default alignment. You can have sub-alignments such as: Free agent, Heel or Face type characters. All CWE wrestlers must role-play AND match write to remain in contract.
S2B Wrestler
Parody characters meant for poking fun at possible real life wrestlers or celebrities. They post on the S2B/B4Pro board primarily.
B4Pro Wrestler
These are wrestlers earning a spot to become a CreatureWrestler. They post on the S2B/B4Pro board primarily.
Powers-That-Be
PTB characters are only to be used for STORY-LINE PURPOSES ONLY and are TEMPORARY. The purpose of a PTB is to add unexpectedness in the game and could cause either friction or stability. PTB characters must be approved by the e-Fed owner first along with a gameplan. PTB characters either lose their status around the half-year mark or at the end of a main storyline chapter. Only The Promoter is not temporary and it is only controlled by the actual e-Fed owner and outranks all PTB characters. PTB characters DO NOT ASSUME THE TITLES THEY ARE GIVEN IN REAL LIFE! (i.e., if you are the "president" you are NOT the actual e-Fed company president. And, they have NO say-so with how this e-Fed is ran). The e-Fed owner, can at anytime, for any reason, strip your status as a PTB character.
